Player of the Season

I went for Munoz too. Was between him and Eze.

Eze has had a brilliant second half to the season. But felt Munoz has been consistent throughout the whole season.

For the first time in years there does not seem to be an outright no brainer winner for this. Given we are level on our record Premier League points tally with two games to go, and in the FA Cup Final, this can only be great news for team strength rather than reliance on an individual.

Candidates for me are:

1. Henderson - contributed several key points to our tally with his saves, and has made several critical key contributions.
2. Munoz - others have covered off everything I would say.
3. Lacroix - leadership and speed to adapt to a new league with different pace etc.
4. Guehi - no surprise our most consistent form has been when he has been playing and settled.
5. Eze - great second half to the season with key goals and assists.
6. Sarr - great first full season with us, and devastating recent form with key goals.
7. JPM - obvious reasons.

Wharton, Mitchell, Richards and Hughes do not even get on the shortlist for me, and I consider they have all been superb in the second half of the season as well.

At gunpoint, I'd say JPM.

For sheer consistency and excellence, Guehi.
In my view he's taken for granted and I'd be surprised if he has had more than a couple of poor games this season.

Munoz, Hughes, Sarr, Eze and Mateta all have had good spells- but not over the whole season.

Incredibly tight this year… my top 3 is sarr, munoz and Henderson!

I gave my vote to Henderson, saved us many times this season and I think we take for granted how good he’s been.. still remember the uproar when the club picked him over Johnstone!

I think that much of our turnaround was due to Hughes finding the form he had in his early career. I think he's being overlooked now due to slightly falling down the pecking order. I would genuinely say that we'd have been Spurs or Man U without him. Imagine being that bad.
Lacroix is a good shout - can only remember maybe one or two bad games. Sarr improved so much. Munoz great. Mateta scoring goals. I wouldn't say Eze due to inconsistency but he seems to be on form right now (fingers crossed). Mitchell has felt ever present and never let us down..
I'd still go for Hughes for his performances - particularly when we were crap. I felt like he's only had one poorish game and even then, was one of our better players. The other closest would be Henderson. Then perhaps Lacroix. Then Munoz.
The only thing stopping me saying Munoz is a couple of runs of games off the back of international duty. Cut out international duty and he'd win player of the season.
Honourary mention: the whole rest of the team.
