I don't have Sky or a smart phone so I've seen very little European stuff till last night, this season the prem's been a bit meh football-wise, and the Euros and football generally had seemed to have lost a bit of its dash, that's been the consensus, but I watched the highlights last night and it was f*cking brilliant. PSG were amazing, Barca too, great individual flair on show, the clinical technical accuracy of Inter's goals was classic Italian football at its best, and Arsenal played almost as well as they did at Selhurst Park 😆. Villa's opener was a brilliant team goal too, hopefully they'll bust a gut trying to turn it round in the return. Some journo on MOTD questioned Courtois' positioning of himself and the wall, as did Warnock who I'd listen to, as far as the journo I think I'd prefer Eni Oluko's opinion, wtf do you know you pretentious jumped up tw@t? A lot of people say the female pundits should stick to tactics and technicalities rather than motivational/mentality stuff which they haven't experienced at their level, which is fair I think, same with journos, tell us about form and squad details, but skinny nerds telling Courtois where to put his feet at a set piece is just as annoying.
