It’s nothing to do with liking or disliking what they say - it’s whether you accept them as a reliable source or not. To completely dismiss a source as biased and unreliable, but then lean on that same source when it suits you is obviously bullshit.

You can’t dismiss absolutely everything they’ve had to say and then suddenly use them as a source when they make a statement you like - topic aside, that’s just a completely bullshit approach.
