    Villa v Maccabi

You’re clearly happy to make an idiot of yourself. Many clubs have had away travel bans over the last few years, and it’s never been particularly controversial.

    Villa v Maccabi

    Unless they’re Israeli, apparently.

    Villa v Maccabi

Maccabi fans are violent and have been banned by UEFA - they caused more violence in Stuttgart (their next European away day after Villa) and were fined and banned by UEFA as a result. That was just after they’d rioted in Amsterdam and the Tel-Aviv derby. One of our politicians was angered on...

    Villa v Maccabi

Nope, I educated you on what antisemitism can look like - correctly. Maybe reflect on that in your crusade again antisemitism - if you really cared about it, you'd take the point seriously.

    Villa v Maccabi

They wanted to avoid fault scale riot caused by both sides - of course local Muslims would have been looking for violent disorder, as would the Maccabi fans as they've demonstrated before and since - to suggest the risk of violence is a result of just one side is clearly complete guff. To...

    Villa v Maccabi

And as ever, you get schooled and resort to lazy antisemitism claims.

    Villa v Maccabi

The mistake was to lie and invent evidence when they didn't need to.

    Villa v Maccabi

It's antisemitic to conflate Israeli and Jews. They are Israelis. And yet even the Israeli police have taken actions against them: Maccabi v Hapoel called off by police after 'violent riots' The police stopped them going because they are very evidently a violent fan base and the risk to...

    Villa v Maccabi

Of course it can be both - WMP were clearly stupid and made many errors, but the decision is also very clearly the correct one. Anyone suggesting otherwise is far more entrenched and ideological than I am.

    Villa v Maccabi

They're Israelis. I'm suggesting they should be treated the same as any other football fans, and banned from away games when they're violent. Hol's very own Friends of Israel are the ones who seem to want different treatment for Maccabi fans.

    Villa v Maccabi

And as ever you can't answer. Absolutely pathetic.

    Villa v Maccabi

Not an answer. Is it false that Maccabi fans are regularly violent, before and since this decision? Is it false that other clubs have seen their fans banned from European away games as a result of violent conduct? So why should Maccabi fans be treated differently?

    Villa v Maccabi

    Why is it false?

    Villa v Maccabi

The many examples of violence shown by Maccabi fans before and since the decision. The many examples of fans from other European clubs being banned for similar violence.

    London House-Price Slump

As an investment option, I broadly agree - but then the bigger question is whether homes should have ever been treated as a money-making investment (or game!).

    Ahamada - Gone

Pretty telling we've let him walk on a free... I did read that we've negotiated a sell-on fee, in the event his career gets back on track - I won't hold my breath on that.

    Villa v Maccabi

What I did find mental is how many individuals on the HOME AFFAIRS Select committee had to declare their links to Israel. The British media, and indeed public, would not tolerate this level of influence on our politics from any other country - it's absolutely corrupt.

    London House-Price Slump

It's a market; I think prices will continue to drop until things sell.

    Villa v Maccabi

What's bonkers is making something up in your head and then describing it as astonishing :ROFLMAO:

    Villa v Maccabi

I don't think the decision to ban the Maccabi fans was wrong, nor disgraceful - I think WMP made a complete balls up of the process and how they went about it, but the decision was very evidently the correct one.
