Of course it can be both - WMP were clearly stupid and made many errors, but the decision is also very clearly the correct one. Anyone suggesting otherwise is far more entrenched and ideological than I am.

Not an answer. Is it false that Maccabi fans are regularly violent, before and since this decision? Is it false that other clubs have seen their fans banned from European away games as a result of violent conduct? So why should Maccabi fans be treated differently?

I don't think the decision to ban the Maccabi fans was wrong, nor disgraceful - I think WMP made a complete balls up of the process and how they went about it, but the decision was very evidently the correct one.
