Sarr: “He had the full training week, the same as Adam [Wharton] and Eddie [Nketiah]. “[Yeremy Pino] just had to rest on Tuesday. He had a bone bruise – he took a knock, knee on knee, which was very painful – but since Wednesday he’s been training and did the rest of the week. He feels fine, so...

I’m honestly fine with whichever two of Hughes, Kamada or Pino Glasner goes with, as his record of making plans to compete with the top teams is excellent. Unlikely Wharton or Sarr will play the 90 anyway so all 3 will probably get at least half an hour.

...a guess really. I'd say Kamada narrow left - kind of a ten or roaming midfielder. Sarr as Inside Forward - looking to come inside and score. Wharton, Hughes midfield. I think a lot of people, including me, think we have better than Kamada but, who are we to say anything? Particularly whilst...

With a bench of Uche, Lerma, Kamada, Nketiah, Sosa, Canvot. We're looking pretty strong!

I suspect Kamada will start in Pino's place. So it will be Kamada and Sarr in those inside left/ right positions. Isn't that what he usually does? The rule seems to be that Kamada has to be somewhere.

...at Anfield in the last ten years is relatively good to the extent that the scousers regard us as their bogey team at home. We need to demonstrate to Guéhi and Wharton that a move to Merseyside may be a backward step in their footballing careers. Better a club on the way up than one on the way...

Haven’t been impressed with what I’ve seen from Pino so far, maybe I was expecting too much after I heard his age and how many Spanish caps he has. Reckon Glasner would go kamada and Sarr (if fit) as the 10s in front of Hughes and Wharton.

...winners (albeit pens) in the Community Shield. Glasner has the players and the tactical nous to cause Liverpool as many problems as anyone else. IF we are at our best and IF we get a fair and unbiased referee I'm going to say 2-1 Palace. JPM and Wharton to get his first goal in a Palace Shirt.

True. To be fair Glasner did criticise him in his interview and, importantly, Wharton criticised himself unprompted in his. I think Mateta was at fault again also. Glasner said they would focus on it this week.
