    International Call Ups

100% agree. The best England midfield HAS to Wharton, Rice, and Bellingham. Surely. And yeah TM more than deserves a chance. Selfishly I'm happy about it though. Will be good for the boys to have some downtime. Though with all out Internationals, there wont be many first team players...

    International Call Ups

It's mad. I'd build the team around Wharton. Have never been Mitchell's biggest fan but he clearly deserves an opportunity on this occasion.

    International Call Ups

I feel for Wharton, the German clearly doesn’t like him, I mean Loftus-Cheek?? Wtf? 😳

    International Call Ups

Mateta gets his first France call-up. Hendo and Guehi are in the England squad. However, there is no Wharton, despite Gibbs-White and Rogers being in bang average form. There is also no Mitchell despite Livramento being injured and Lewis-Skelly not starting a single PL game this season.

    How far can we go?

Very unlikely. Tuchel watches us a lot but prefers Henderson and Loftus-Cheek to Wharton and Spence and Lewis-Skelly to Mitchell

I completely agree re the system and this is by a mile the best-coached Palace team I've ever seen. But playing devil's advocate slightly, surely we give someone like Uche a much better chance of fitting into the system if he's given playing time in it when we are in fairly low-risk phases of...

The smooth movement of Pino, Kamada, and Wharton is a joy to behold! It all seems to have clicked into place, and I think this is becoming of a very sound defence and a top goalkeeper. Nketiah seems a happy chappie and I expect to see him have a good season with his new found confidence. All in...

Good to hear. It's one of those things that drives me up the wall, lack of football intelligence. How many times have we seen a Palace player with the ball decide to take on his man (no Palace player behind him) lose it and the opposition are away. Knowing when to take a risk or to play safe...

...that the moment that ball was in the air, TM left his man and decided to attack it (or was told), Guehi instantly sprinted to cover TM, and Wharton and Kamada stuck tight to the 2 Liverpool midfielders. If TM gets it, we create a counter, but he's able to gamble knowing that everything...

    How far can we go?

Agreed. They are enriching the competition and doing the PL proud. The only thing I am worried about is UEFA finding a way to put the boot in because of the songs.

    How far can we go?

...players under Roy now look like top tier players (Mitchell, Richards, Hughes etc), Pino looks to be filling in nicely for Ebbs and if Wharton isn't a £100 million plus player I don't know who it. What a team we now have. I am not saying we are unbeatable but nobody is going to look forward to...

Brilliant night and well played Palace! Wharton, Pino & Munoz stood out for me but every player was top class. Glasner is immense and the ball keeps rolling on to Everton on Sunday. Come on you Palace!!

I agree with the first part, they need to chip in with goals but the rest of the team (including the centre backs) have but I think Kamada has been very good and Wharton looked fully recovered from injury and class tonight.

...win at difficult place and on we go. Was remarking that last few games our scorers have been subs and full backs. Cmon midfield - Hughes, Wharton, Kamada = zero Eddie hitting form is good as beloved JP needs some competition. Thought Wharton was ordinary tbh. And i know Kamada getting...

Yes agree with Kamada and Wharton for Everton - give Hughes a break for the tougher games coming up.

They seemed to be targeting Kamada which may be why he got a bit of white line fever after a very good run but he's becoming a very useful player.

...away. Nketiah is really showing some pace and awareness now. Knew he would be fast but he's making the runs now. Kamada is exactly right. Wharton coming back to his best. Sarr will be back fit for Everton by the looks of it. It'll be Kamada Wharton starting with Pino and Sarr as the two...

...Fantastically quick feet from Pino for Eddie's goal which he took very well. Hughes looked a bit out of his element with no fires to fight but put himself around. Wharton played some lovely through balls and Munoz...was Munoz. Great goal and could run all night. A fine night's work all round.
