A family member of mine has just returned from a holiday in Florida. They bought me a Trump baseball cap from an Official Trump shop.
On the inside of the cap is a label which says "Made in China"

That in itself is funny, but the price tag in America was for $16.99.

When I looked on internet, I could get the same cap for £6.99, including postage, sent direct from China.

There are multiple issues here, over Trumps stance on protectionism, and the wider economy and the USA's biggest competitor.
Whenever I wear the cap in public, I come home to find the back of my jacket covered in spit. 😱 (I'm pretty sure it's not jizz)
 
Another take on it from a USA resident, is that Trump in going over legal boundaries with a proportion of his activities. He is not being challenged on this, because there are threats to withdraw funding or cancel contracts, amongst some of the tactics used to influence.

I have noticed how happy some media outlets and the BBS are at the failure of these talks.

Don't they want peace?

In a perfect world neither Trump or Putin would be in power but they are so we have to deal with the reality. Although some may classify the talks are a failure they are still talking so it is possible that we get a result eventually.

Trump is slated for trying to make peace whilst Obama got a noble peace prize for the Middle East peace deal he was going to do. How did that work out?

A deal will happen eventually and Ukraine will not be happy about it, unfortunately when you are losing the war the other side tends to walk away with the prize.

Of course they do. A permanent peace where boundaries are respected and people allowed to determine for themselves how they are governed.

Not a temporary pause in the fighting which allows the aggressor to rebuild its resources and give its fighting men a rest whilst the defending side loses its major backer.

It’s not peace being negotiated. It’s a carve up between two corrupt leaders.

The world has never been peaceful.
Always conflicts and always winners and losers.

You don’t hold elections whilst you are being invaded and bombed. I believe that is even written in the Ukrainian constitution.

As it seems as unlikely as some might think desirable that the USA is invaded and bombed I cannot see Trump getting away with that as an excuse.

For those of you with your ears and eyes shut and your brains disengaged Trump has conned and fooled you so often now that you believe all his lies just as badly as do the MAGA crowd in the USA.

They have something of an excuse for being that dumb. You don’t. That’s a real example of delusion.
