Guehi stays but just for this season , 1 help us win conference he might sign on with us for longer , and 2 god forbid we get in champions lge , but that's 2 different scenarios , but first one possible , which will help in getting replacements for him , and get us in top 8 , did say it was no slam dunk that Liverpool would sign him

I get it he is only 5'10" and see your point he is not the best at defending headers , but better on the floor and quick same in all defenses
I think Lacroix and Richards are better defenders, maybe not better player’s

I agree with you to a point. Needs a big dominating player next to him otherwise he struggles.
He was awful in middle of back 3 after anderson left and ollie started lacroix on the right of the 3 after he joined.

I can't see how he fits into the Liverpool side.

It's tedious when it happens every season, but a lot of it is media hype.
Parish will be happy to present Eze staying as a victory, since he has made no significant signings.
If Guehi stays too, he will be telling us how lucky we are.

Unfortunately, we do need a better squad to play in 4 competitions.
If I were Glasner, despite his wining every game mantra, I'd be thinking that a quick exit from the League and FA Cup would be a good thing since winning the Conference gets you a route to the Europa League and is the one we are most likely to win.
100% 10th in the Premier and Conference League Winners would do me fine, when Geoff goes up to get the Europa conference league trophy doesn't have the same feeling though.

Through gritted teeth. Personally I get the feeling Parish wants him gone while we can still get something for him.
No way! We are holders. Its our duty to try and defend it no matter how difficult that may be. I'd bum off the Carabao though.
The Conference is not going to be a drain till after Christmas. Up to then we'll be able to field a second string team.

If he is unwilling to sign a new contract Parish has to weigh up the income versus keeping him and how much better we will do with him. Will he improve us by 35 million in prize money, marketing, sales etc over the next year.
I assume salary is not an issue, if it is we should throw 120k a week at him for a two year extension. Same for Mateta and Eze.

From what Parish said at the weekend "The player" didn't want a move to Newcastle.
We can only go with the offers we have and so far no offers for Guehi or Eze.
