That statistic highlights one of the biggest problems we face. Not being able to return people whose asylum application fails means people believe they will be able to stay whatever happens. We tried the Rwanda scheme, at huge cost, only to see it fail.

There ought to be a solution which involves their country of origin readmitting them but when you are undocumented which country is involved? It’s proved an intractable problem.

Stopping the transits at source looks like the only real answer.

Put them on a plane or boat, send them back. Their country must take them. We have lawyers in the way, the law needs changing but first we toughen up.

Also, put them in warehouses and barracks with the minimum. Process them there on site. It needs to be s*** to come here.

A mattress on a floor shared with hundreds of others and no peace and quiet at night being stuck there is a good deterrent. We are seen as a soft touch, are too nice and kind and all it’s done is made this problem much much worse. We need to completely change this idea that it’s a positive because it isn’t whatsoever.

And while we’re on it, what cultural benefits is anyone experiencing from the latest years of mass legal migration? Anything? What is anyone gaining from loads of East Africans and Middle Eastern men? Name one! And don’t tell me food.

The political class are in ivory towers, divorced from their populations and will end up becoming irrelevant at some point.

Human rights and the ECHR been a problem for decades, and the foolish have just voted one in as PM. Since Trunp came to London I wish we had him or similar as PM. It would also shut up a lot of the useless idiot liberals as problems that have been ignored get sorted out.

About 5 years ago there was an Extinction Rebellion protest at Canning Town tube station which didn't go too well since commuters waiting on the platform threw a few things at them then dragged them off the roof of the train.
Canning Town might have changed a bit over the years but these protesters should've picked somewhere else.

A DNA test would give a pretty accurate indication, given that most of them are interbred (and would also give a definite age identification for those that claim, wrongly, to be 'children') , but of course, as always, their human rights outclass our national rights to do this.

They actually do age checks across African migrant routes with some bone test or something. Pretty accurate as well apparently

These fruitcakes are only interested in ideological battles, of which they likely have a flimsy understanding.

They have no sense, only a desire to oppose. They are blind to the obvious consequences of what they support, and their champions change from one year to the next.

Rwanda scheme didn’t fail, it was never given a chance. As I have said before, that is exactly the type of deterrent we needed. Well done the left!
