I have some recent examples from the region. Are these examples of genocide too? If not I'd like to know why.
Assad regime in Syria. 500,000 killed and 13 million displaced.
Saudi Arabia led coalition in Yemen. Almost 400,000 dead.
Genocide or just war?
Then you have Myanmar where the international courts have ruled a genocide.
Was Dresden in WW2 a genocide?
Unquestionably. Churchill was sure that if we lost the war he would be tried for it, and Harris made similar comments.
Not sure what you are adding with Myanmar as it is common ground.
You are also providing what are likely to be common ground with Syria, although Yemen is more complex.
Actually, I am not sure what point you are making. Israel's actions in Gaza are without reasonable doubt genocide. You cant kill 60000 plus, largely by way of collateral punishment/ethnic cleansing and call it anything else. So, is the point you are making that they are being unfairly singled out?
In response, I would agree with the words "singled out" relative to the other countries you cite. But "unfairly" - no.
By extension, this means because others are doing it we cannot criticize anyone. That has to be rubbish, no?
However, Syria was backed by Russia, Myanmar by China and, while we're at it, North Korea also by China. All of them are essentially rogue states where little more than brutal despotism is expected. Not much we can do there given geo-political issues save bleat from the sidelines. The Saudis are fighting a proxy war with Iran in Yemen hence more difficult to call.
But Israel? A close ally and friend and the only western democracy in the region. There we expect more and can do more hence the reason they are singled out. Also, the horrors in those other countries are largely localized. Israel's actions seem to have much wider impact.
