Pakistan and India threatening war.

I don't think anyone would like it. But it seems a distinct possibility - or not according to you somehow? Are there excellent relations within these communities? Do no internal Indian and Pakistani politics get played out in Britain?
I think you know the answer. Plus, what people want on a football forum is going to change little in reality.
I don't see anyone egging them on. I'm sure their own community leaders are, by and large, doing that already. Although, there will be some uninterested people. They could get caught up in it, however. Anyone could really.
I beg to differ, AS.

I said nothing about 'egging them on', mate.

Just slathering over the possibility.

Sad but true.

From my viewpoint, I find it worrying.
Firstly, the obvious nuclear possibilities (but I doubt it will go that far).
Secondly, the mass innocent casualties (both sides have long histories of atrocities against each other).
Thirdly, it spilling over into Europe, which is probably mainly going to effect Britain. I don't think it's worth anyone being killed in European streets over what Indian and Pakistani do. But it seems likely from previous events.
Fourthly, you think people want it? Do you think they'll want the millions of refugees? I also don't think any of us want millions dead.
Try Africa, Asia or the middle East for those kind of viewpoints. Or Northern Ireland or Celtic/Rangers at the very least.

I know what you mean, AS but I'm afraid there will be those who'll lap it up simply because it would bolster their prejudices. No doubt you've noticed that tendency on here. Or perhaps not?

Oh, sorry, it's just me. You know what I'm like.

These looney lefties. What are we like, eh?

I'm going to though.

The Indian higher class actually seem half decent.....not that this means they have a right to my country.

As for the Pakistanis....there are always exceptions but....

Let's just say I'm sure other countries would just love them....I just can't think of any.
The Stirlingsays echo.

Another example of violence perpetrated by agents who aren't like the rest of us, who just want to lead our lives in peace.

Psychopaths on both sides, as ever.

I can understand what you mean in some ways but I don't think the prejudice quite matches what you may think it does.
I'll put it this way - my reading of the situation is that people don't mind the original sub-continental immigration. It's to be expected as an Empire ends.
However, having massive communities who dictate policy to people already here. Who subvert the work the original community generally did to integrate. To bring their problems here with little allegiance to their actual country. To follow religion blindly, in a state that is largely secular. To not even bother to learn the language these days. Those things irk many - not just on here. See what French people will think of any of that.
You might think that's blindly racist. But this is the crux of what's created politics like Trump. It isn't actually racist to point out genuine issues. There are obviously generalisations but this is what people see in front of their face. There are exceptions but let's tell the truth - they're not the rule. I would think that you would recognise some of these issues too?
I suppose it is a bit harder to judge for me currently as I realise a lot of Asian people have fully integrated into the UK - a lot not. I lived in Hounslow for years and worked in Heathrow. But I'm in Ireland now and currently the communities are pretty new and not really integrating at all. So we're a bit behind in that sense (Ireland is always behind somehow).

In a nutshell. That sums it up nicely.

It's amazing how you find the time to know so many millions of people so well when you are on here 22 hours a day lol.
You are boring.

The difference between Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims? You barely notice the first two are around. They mind their own business, integrate into British society, and don't feature disproportionately in crime statistics.

Can we say that about a significant number of the latter?

Pakistan say they are going to respond to India's recent bombing with escalation.

They just need to wait for the travel arrangements while they call in all of the British Pakistani grooming gangs before they parachute them into Delhi for their rapey bombay duckings.

So good to see someone wiling to talk openly about their point of view in a less (let's call it) prejudice way.

I fully agree with the point on integration and don't think that makes you a racist at all. If I was in a country not my own, I would make the effort.

However, some of the comments I see on here are barely disguised dislike of Muslims being here at all. And a seeming dislike of Muslims full stop.

I don't subscribe with that viewpoint (if that's what we can call it). I think that no matter what religion or race, there are always people on both sides who are psychopathic in their violent, distorted views; those who will resort to hatred and war.

My feeling is that there some who definitely do mind sub-continental immigration - very much indeed. I think that is clear reading these pages. But again, I'd be a looney leftie wouldn't I.

when they said they were going to spit-roast a kid, I thought it was going to be goat curry.

However, it could be more sinister than that 🙂
