Arsenal Predictions.

Only silver lining is at least one of our 3 centre backs gets a rest as he’s suspended. Also tricky Ollie with our recent results and history of taking JPM off, dropping hughes and Wharton, playing Kamada etc… genius, he’s allowed himself no end of reasons for playing a weaker team with Liverpool unable to complain as we’ve been s*** over the last month and he needs to ‘freshen’ things up to try and get new faces up and running for the semi. Like I said… genius

Give Chilwell an outing as we need to see what he's made of these days.
I would also play Franca and Devenny.
Give Mateta one half and Nketia the 2nd half.
Play Kamada.
Lerma in the back three.
Score draw would be an excellent result.

Haven't got a prediction right in ages and with this match all I want is for all our players to finish the game in one piece, except maybe Kamada.

Don't mean it really - it'd be great if he played a blinder and boosted his confidence.

Tyler
Clyne, Guehi, Lerma
Kporha, Kamada, Devenny, Chilwell
Esse, Franca
Nketieh
If Ward is fit enough, in instead of Guehi, worst case scenario, first team play, get hammered and pick up injuries

Only important thing is no injuries to key players, 6 point gap to next team, no chance of Europe, 100% focus on semi final

I dont think Glasner will rest many.

The point at the weekend was really important (mentally) after a couple of hammerings.

As much as we cant really take any injuries, there is merit in building back some confidence. Granted this isn't the oppo to do it against.

But manage a battling nil nil, and the players wont fear Villa

My thoughts too.

OG has not proven to be a "replacement" manager. 7 players changed from the weekend etc. Like his predecessor he sees a virtue in continuity.

Also, player's recovery is so well advanced these days they can play Wednesday night and be pretty much unaffected by Saturday. After all, what would they be doing if they were not playing tomorrow? Training.

My fantasy outcome is also a tough 0-0 draw, 20% possession and Villa getting next to nothing as to how we will play them come the weekend.

That's all very well if it happens, if you pick the first 11, you still risk the fact that we get hammered, so the bit of confidence gained is lost, and i can imagine the calls of fancy playing him, it could go horribly wrong if we play first eleven, i dont care if we lose 10-0 against Arsenal, if it helps us get to the final.

Can't wait to see how Tyler works out in goal.

Glasner said he will make '2 or 3 changes' for the Arsenal game
He was also going to play Chilwell, but he's unavailable through sickness.
My guess is that Nketiah and Kamada will start and possibly Clyne

I think it’s about time Franca got a start so I want him in v Arsenal he could end up being our match winner on Saturday. I also think Esse has to come on for last 20 mins on Wednesday because he could shake things up as a sub v Villa if we went behind.

I agree. Seems he punishes those two for scoring goals - something Wharton, Kamada, Lerma and Hughes have, combined, failed to do in the league, I believe

I can see another mid week mauling like last week.

Arsenal are playing very well.
Arteta has said he will not let Liverpool win the title easily
We have semi final in mind
We rarely do well at Arsenal

On the plus side, I have Saka as Captain this week in my FF. So, he is bound to do nothing.
