Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace match thread

What an absolute f***ing joke giving away a completely unnecessary free kick. It’s just self harm. If I was a player he’d be getting grabbed by the throat in the dressing room and told in no uncertain terms that he isn’t good enough and I don’t want him in the same team as me. He’s been a liability every single game he’s played and I’m really tired of reading people try and defend him. He can f*** off.
 
Well I think we have the halftime answer to the Kamada conundrum, basically he ain’t up to it.

I made a point of watching him closely and it’s obvious he doesn’t read the game well. He marks space and City just pass it through him. He doesn’t close down players and then throws in the occasional suicidal tackle.

I’m really not a fan and Hughes should come straight on.
 
I've been watching Kamada closely all game and his positioning is just terrible and ineffectual. He can't read the game and gives the ball away. It's as clear as day he's not good enough and is by far our weakest link. Tbf Wharton hasn't been at his best today too, but Kamada takes the biscuit.
 
Just when you’re thinking Kamada is turning the corner…. He does that. What is he thinking? So desperate, so uncontrolled, so unnecessary!!!!! You’d be fuming if that happened in Sunday League. At 2-0 up away from home you don’t need to do it!!!! FFS!!!!

Rant over. Come on palace, played some unbelievable stuff in that first half.
 
Kamada is on a yellow and has had a couple of other nibbles.
If he doesn't come off at half time , it will likely be around 60 mins to avoid the risk of a sending off.

Tell me how many games have we lost from winning positions? I think you will be surprised how wrong you are. We have missed 1 chance.

It was a reckless challenge from Kamada but the way the defence set up the wall was just inviting KdB to pick his spot. It was far too easy. Kamada looks on the periphery and needs to come off, especially as he's on a booking. Shame as the first half hour it was looking like we could run away with it but the final 15 minutes we looked panicked in defence and a bit leggy. KdB is an arrogant twit but everything is going through him, so get Hughes on, nobble the ginger whinger and off we go!

On a side note, Pep looks like he needs to take a valium. He must really hate playing us. Their fans must be enjoying seeing some entertainment for once though.
 
I came to the match late, checked the score 0-1, excellent! Went to make a bite to eat, came back 2-2 wow! Then I read the comments from the beginning - nothing but a shameful whingefest, embarrassing.
Anyone fancy themselves as manager, send your CV to Steve Parish.

If you had seen what went on between 0-1 and 2-2, I think even you might be slightly less condemnatory of the comments......
