Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool match thread

Ok. We were discussing the football and you’ve decided to be personally abusive because you don’t like what I said. That’s on you but don’t need to engage with people like that so will leave you to it.

Well don't then. Discussion is for afterwards, and the Stephensons

We need a right back/wing back and at least one central defender ready and signed on the first few days of January, who can come in and do something (anything) more than the shite we have currently.

But we all know what will happen. We'll make crap low-ball offers for players all window and then panic buy on the final day.

We're so predictable.

As Glasner used to say it's all about being efficient in both penalty areas.

It's here we are sadly lacking.

Letting is soft goals and failing to take presentable chances.

Liverpool in truth haven't looked better than us - apart from unfortunately in the all important key moments.

That's a penalty, 2 handed shove

Its a shame as it was a great first half performance but its all just so desperate now, terrible in the league, underwhelming in Europe and just complete fluk to still be in the league cup. bye sage, get a new manager in and we go again after the international break.

If Liverpool had played at this level, and we'd had Sarr and Mateta, it might have been a memorable match.
Liverpool are cruising, they know the games won. we could play until midnight and not score. Every time we attack, they have 6-7 players in the box, we have no pace without Sarr.

At the end of last season and during the pre season I thought this team would struggle, even before the loss of Munoz and Lacroix is thrown into the mix. Add Sage in for good measure, a man out of his depth with what he has been presented, and our position is even worse than I had imagined. It's going to take a lot of hard work to get out of this one.

I’m sorry but what have we seen that suggests he will succeed somewhere else? Genuinely.

At this point he has had a good season elsewhere but also been sacked elsewhere. His achievements at Palace are getting something out of Pino and Kamada whilst Wharton and Mitchell have gone back massively.
Well, the French league might not be as strong as the Premier League, but not everyone can finish second there with a club like Lens. But you're right—we'll have to wait and see.
