Liverpool Predictions.

I completely agree. I'm not asking for the tinker man but I am asking that we analyse and change due to our opponents. Do we genuinely analyse anything? (Back post?). Even if we do, do we then change?
I believe we do have a analysis department but 1) do they report the stats for things gone wrong or gone right 2) who actually listens to them does the coach really take it on board & changes to suit his opponents or is it one set up suits every game 3) can players actually develop thier own game in time to level up

I seem to recall a few years ago when we were similarly in the doldrums under Warnock when, against all the odds, we beat Liverpool 3-1 at Selhurst.
Bolassie had a stormer and Jedi scored with a free kick.
Sadly we won't have either available this weekend.

9-0 would equal Manchester United's crushing of poor Ipswich town, George Burley was the Ipswich manager.
Sage knows he 's a goner, but the team play carefree and with aplomb. A shock 2-0 Palace victory.

What happens if we get a result? 😳😂

Does he stay or does he go… now that would put the cat amongst the pigeons.
But to be fair there is more chance of a tit w*** off Suzanna Reid whilst parish applaudes than there is getting a result of some sort.

1-3

I think we’ll give them a game because they’re not indestructible these days, but you just can’t see our defending improving anytime soon, those gaps that you could drive Gemma Collins and Vanessa Feltz through are not going to close up over night

I made this comment when the white sash kit was unveiled.....

But I am still scarred by the 9-0 defeat as a school boy in Kent surrounded by Liverpool fans (of course!!!)

Another drubbing wearing that kit and I would hope we immediately change back to the red and blue (can you change 3rd to 1st kits during a season??)

HOWEVER - This is the Palace rollercoaster and we are just as likely to muster up a footballing masterclass (or have complete luck) to pull off a victory tomorrow

COYP!!

My heart says we can pull it off, but my head says otherwise. I feel sorry for Sage as he has a near impossible task to get anything from this game as he just does not have the players of quality and probably the worst defence in the division. Sadly whoever is in charge without better players it will make little difference to results going forward. Hoping for a miracle!

Trouble is this season we’re pitting the coast in rollercoaster 🤣

But you’re right, how many times have we had little spells of looking awful since promotion but we’ve shaped up and lived to tell the tale

I don't believe our squad is that bad. I believe going back to basics we can be competitive. I'm sick of the silly tactics. We need to tighten up, score on the break and nick games when we can. We're not going to do that giving away three clear chances every half by being too open, too slow and too inaccurate. We need a simple shape and simple transition. I'm tired of the fancy inverted stuff and advanced wingbacks trying to cover the length of the pitch.
