Russell Brand

No wonder they went after him when he switched sides.
did Huw Edwards ever go to jail ? only a 'suspended sentence' as far as i remember. But surely its A worse crime than those of Brand ? what with it being kids and all ?

who brainwashed you Dan ? did you watch a whole week of a mainstream broadcaster while awake on amphetamines ?

here below is the story of two coked up druggies, naked in a hotel bed. Snogging the head off of each other in the lobby (allegedly snogging both before AND AFTER the alleged bedroom crime).....cctv evidence disallowed by the judge.

McGregor said it was consensual, she said it wasn't. Her word against his.

Mike Tyson also got done for raping a women who entered the bedroom while he was lying on the bed in his underpants. Tyson has always maintained he is innocent. And he is actually a gentle-giant outside of the Ring.

They don't care....like the judge.

A fit up.....Jailing him for a sexual encounter 17 years ago, that went with no official complaint.

I suspect Brand has strong grounds for an appeal. The people who sent him down were fully immersed in the very kind of lifestyle that the left suddenly now pretend to look down on.

The right...well, the actual right....were always critics of it......As am I.

Where I perhaps differ is that I've always been a respecter of serious talent and having read Brand, I recognise that he has it in abundance. Much more than anyone operating today. When he's focused on comedy there are few brighter lights.

It's a shame that he also had flaws...everyone does but apart from sex addiction his was in p1ssing a lot of people off....sometimes geniunely and sometimes just angering very flawed people themselves, who looked at this big mouthed dandy and wanted to punch him.

I've never quite forgiven him for that situation with Andrew Sachs and his grand-daughter, however he paid for that at the time and also paid her rehab when she went onto drugs. Of course he's the easy person to blame for anything negative that happens in anyone's life....You are seening that now, all the fleas jumping on the band-wagon.

Again, Brand is just the pin-up boy for an industry that is fully degenerate and full of coke, casual sex and frankly horrible people who dispose of others like they were sh1t on their shoe...a lot of industries are like that but entertainment more so than most......All of those people think they are so much better people than they actually are.

I my view Brand was a sex addict who took advantage of his situation like all the rock and pop and some celebrities did before and after him. He was out front and centre, unlike the others who looked to hide....and still do.

He also got a pay off of several hundred grand and a pension from the BBC. As if that wasn't gross misconduct. I guess it's not even misconduct at the BBC, it's normal.
It's possible his tastes were brought up during interview and that helped him secure the job.

Just a joke of course, some people at the BBC aren't part of the We Won't Tell gang.

slight deviation and possibly put on the BBC thread. But , if I think Gary Glitter is a bit dodgy, I don't have to buy his records or go to his concerts.
I think the BBC is out of control with deviants. However, I get threatening letters about buying a TV licence (I don't need) every couple of weeks.

I cannot understand is how a person, whose only talent was how to manipulate people, rose to such heights. He wasn't any good as a comedian and awful as an actor. It's laughable that the Sun who once awarded him the title of shagger of the year is now trying to distance themselves from him. All those executives and managers who turned a blind eye and backed him because he was good for the ratings have serious questions to answer.
Just shows how far a country had fallen that an obnoxious little man was regarded as a star.

Maybe the regulators could introduce a paedo rebate. A small discount if more than 5% of the BBC staff are outed in a 12 month period.

Now we are out of the debate where some people think he could have had a biased trial, and some people are categorically able to say he was guilty (thank god that debate is over and no one was weak enough to change their stance), the pictures of him on all the news websites look well rapey. Those eyes. Some people have "come to bed eyes". Some people have "get on the bed eyes".
