Palace Summer 2026 transfers?

Doesn't matter now that the window's closed. Best thing we can do is do the double over them. Rip his system apart.
Best thing is to let Glasner be Glasner and the fat one be the fat one. They will take care of their own downfall soon enough. We can just smile as it happens. The fat one will not put up with one of the turn coats long losing runs

So, honestly I'm trying to decide if we have had a good transfer window or not. I feel this one is going to be one which we look back on in hindsight and it's either a very good shrewed one or one where we have shown a real decline.

We know last season the squad was not big enough, too many lost points from the hangover of European nights, great we won, and a wonderful journey to be on, bit it came at the cost of our league position. We have increased the quantity of our personel. 10/11 in 6 out of what you might consider first team squad players. Of course guessing a bit with the likes of Gozo as to if you'd consider him first team squad or not. But, of those that have left Lacroix and Munoz were established stromg players, so have we been able to replace on top of that? And finally, all this done with us making a profit on sales as we know the new financial sustanability rules kick in and we have to comply.

It’s been a clever window for us with no expensive gambles. A mix of very promising young players with some experience and all internationals. IF Sage can blend them into the squad then the future is very promising. I’d back him to do that and I think he’ll be given enough time to do what isn’t an easy job from a standing start.
I think you are spot on with your evaluations and it will be some exiting days ahead.

Much better window than January

I'm happy with the window in the main and we are better equipped with greater options in midfield, attack and wing back.

Being a conservative chap though, I still have a nagging doubt about our central defence.
Will it be capable of forming an effective tight unit, of keeping a clean sheet or have the pace to deal with quick counter attacks?
Time will tell no doubt, but most successful sides are built on the foundations of a solid back line.

The back line is where the risk is. That said, Munoz has been replaced and his cover secured. Lacroix’s failed his medical. But we have got cover for his position. And in Chilliwel, a leader.

Rather than us amateurs speculating about the transfers, here it is from the horses mouth as to what they bring.
I hope he's right about Osorio's speed and note that Chilwell is seen as a centre back too.

A really good summary here from someone who knows the club inside out (shared article, no firewall) (cross posted from Palace talk, not sure where best to post it)

Thanks very informative.
I find it interesting that the obligation to take Guessand on a permanent basis only kicks in if he has a 'certain' number of starts.
I wonder what that number is?
