Man City Predictions

I have no idea why but I fancy us to do ok in this game. 1-0 to us. I know, I'm clearly deluded.
They didn’t look good against Bournemouth but then we didn’t look good against Everton. I think we will lose as our defence is a work in progress but it could be close. 1-2

Our first point of the season is sadly, the best that we can hope for, although a 2-1 home defeat is more likely, given recent change and uncertainty.

As the first requirement of winning would be to actually score, I cannot move beyond my usual foreboding and expect a 0-? result. I know we won the park match with Fulham and vs Swindon but otherwise nothing in the onion-bag.

After last week, getting the ball in the opponents' net must surely have been the focus in training so I'm really hoping that bears some fruit - even without Sarr (injured) and Mateta (unfit). The scoreline therefore Palace 1 - Citeh however many our unsettled defence can keep them to - let's hope 1.

Very rare do I predict a loss on here, I am usually quite the optimist about our chances. However today is not one of those days as I think this will be a very tough meeting.

I'm going with Palace 1-3 Man City.

Sarr is injured, Riad is injured (expected to be all season now). Both sides are not at 100% level of performance going into the game so we can sneak a goal, but I don't see us coming out on top.

Hope to be proven wrong!

This isn't Peps City its the bloke who was a muppet at Chelsea's City . He has had a few weeks to mess them up proper and expect them to be worse than they were last week .

With some clarity inside the camp if not outside it as to what the hell is going on at Palace I'm expecting us to be a bit better

2-0 to the mighty Eagles has a good ring about it

Wouldn't call him a muppet at Chelsea, he won two trophies and was doing well again in his last season until he walked and both his replacements tanked the team.

Another patchy performance, which would be unsurprising given the topsy turvy nature of the preparation for the game and the uncertainty around our players.

I anticipate a defeat, but hopefully not a heavy one which could affect confidence.

The selections should be interesting with 3 from Mateta, Larsen, Nketiah, McNeil, Pino and Guessand.
And a potential difficult baptism for Khalaili against Semenyo or Doku.

Mateta is supposedly now out injured tonight due to a hamstring issue.
Really? Would make a miraculous recovery if Palace agreed he could go somewhere!!
Tonight, everything points to a heavy loss, so just maybe we can turn them over and we can all leave the ground happy.
