That isn't relevant though, is it? The point is you shouldn't be letting anyone into the country that you can't do a background check on. No exceptions. No hard feelings, even if you are a good person coming into the country illegally, I do not care about that, I care about the fact that we cannot verify it.

There are checks, via the UKVI, and visas can and do get refused. More it seems these days for some very weak reasons just to keep the numbers down to placate people.

Illegal migrants and asylum seekers present a totally different problem though. If there was an easy answer available it would have been found years ago.

Hungary found a way and got fined a million Euros per day for breaching its responsibilities to asylum seekers under EU law.

How do you stop people getting in your house? You lock the f***ing door, you call the cops, intruders forcibly removed.
