Remainers gone a bit quiet haven't they.

The agility that Brexit provides was a point being made from the start.

Here's another sucker point.....The EU don't have the money to make their announced ridiculous 600 billion investment into the US.....Not over any terms and yet this is the fantasy they signed up to.

We didn't.
 
Italy and Spain are having a Passport...closed-borders tiff.

maybe it will start a conflagration of other countries ending open borders. Spain were reckless to regularize half a million lads.

Don't see at all what the Ceuta incident has to do with Italy.

Ceuta is not physically in Spain, but an autonomous region of theirs, it is in North Africa its border is with Morocco.

Entry into Schengen is not possible therefore, nothing to do with Italy.

And they don't even qualify for the World Cup, Spain has won it.

But if the Spanish allow these people to transfer to the mainland then they have access to the rest of the EU through Schengen.

I think the Italians are just firing a warning shot to Spain, this is your problem not ours.

Anyone traveling from Ceuta or Melilla to mainland Spain or another Schengen country must pass through identity and document controls, so 'irregular entry into the enclaves does not automatically become entry into the wider Schengen area'.

I think practically all just went back after a few hours.

Whar does it say that thousands of Moroccans would take any chance to get out of Moroccan rule, with its links to Trump and Israel.

Apparently not. The locals are claiming this is Spanish BS that thousands are still there (I have no idea if this is true).

I think the Italians are making the point that Spain is on their own when it comes to dealing with this issue and they should not expect any help from their fellow EU countries.

It does if they are granted Spanish residency or Citizenship. You do know they have just given 500,000 illegal migrants, residency don’t you? All of who can now travel unchecked throughput Schengen So, if those in Ceuta are also given the same treatment, by the idiotic Government Minister, they too, will have full access to Schengen. Italy are spot on

No need for any noise now. The failure of Brexit is so obvious that only the brain dead fringe still cling to it like a deflating pair of water wings in a typhoon.

The writing is on the wall. The only question is how long it will take to be moved onto the Statute Book.

Once Reform’s continuing belief in Brexit is better understood by those voters who only take any interest in politics immediately before an election (which is many more than you might imagine) it will be another big blow to them. And they will be told. You can be sure of that.

The biggest question is “will there be an EU to rejoin?” A pack of cards on its way, Schengen appears to be a dead duck

No it’s not.

The EU will evolve and adapt. A two speed Europe was long predicted so that is the most likely outcome. An inner core growing their economies ever tighter and an outer circle that share the same values, trade using the same standards but keep the economic controls themselves. Initially we would obviously be in the second group.

I may have mentioned this before, the economies of Germany and in particular France are struggling. Not two speed, reverse.
