Crystal Palace are set to sign Takehiro Tomiyasu on a free transfer following a successful trial and are considering a move for winger Solly March.

I presume he would cover Mitchell instead of Sosa? Or would he play higher up?
He knows the league, seems a good egg, and would no doubt do a job. I am just not sure where he fits in the 343 system.

That is exactly what I was thinking, except I widened it to the £135m-odd we spent on Nketiah, Pino, Larsen, and Johnson. For context, that's all the money we made on Olise, Eze, Guehi, and the European cup run.

No wonder we are shopping in the bargain basement.

If it happened would be another bit part player with experience that’s all. I’m hoping we still have money to spend, and will before the window shuts. The 70% issue seems to be driving this approach and not just for Palace.

Well we shopped at Harrods with Johnson and Larsen and are now in the Bargain Basement looking at slightly shop soiled Tomiyasu and March.
