Palace Fans Against Racism

Could have saved yourself a lot of hassle if you started off with that.

I can't speak for others but I certainly can't say I have witnessed any of this behavior at games.

And have you any proof of this alleged behavior? Has it been reported to the club and or police?
He did start off with that. And provided proof. The grubby corners of this site instantly jumped on him for 20-odd pages over it.

None of this was an attack on anyone, it was about keeping Selhurst Park safe from the scourge of racism. Anyone who finds that to be offensive should pause to think about their reason why.

Quite possibly, but that doesn't make it racist.
When it's in such an out-of place context, it does. The whole purpose of it is to make non-white non-Anglo Saxon people uncomfortable.

It wasn't the whole of what he said though, Linford, nor was it the part that most people objected to.

I'm not speaking in defence of any other poster on this thread, but I do think it would be a mistake to say that the OP was met with grubbiness for no good reason.

I am one of a number of posters who never, ever, post on the news and politics threads, but who felt strongly enough about the OP that I had to respond. I took some time to set out my views as reasonably as I could. If you can be arsed you could look back through this interminable thread and take a look.

I did say I wouldn't post on this thread again, and here I am doing exactly that!

Like I have said I have never seen nor heard any racism at selhurst. If you or he can provide the proof I can look into it. So far I have seen no proof in this thread. Just allegations and speculation.

Believe me, a lot of White Anglo Saxon people are feeling very uncomfortable these days.

It works all ways and you need to wake up to that.

What some did to some white farmers and their families is heartbreaking. Pure Satanism.

If anyone can bear it, watch the Lauran Southern documentary. Warning, it will scar you for life.

Yep, colourism is a big thing in some countries.

Racism at football must be at an all time low.
Especially in this country.

As soon as there is one extremely rare incident of rascist name calling, then the media go wild. Last year after an incident, talk sport literally stopped their programme to just discuss the event. One idiot at Liverpool in a wheelchair said something nasty to a grown up man and it's national news. That kind of reporting makes absolutely blows up a storm in a tea cup.

Grown up millionaire footballers, do not need protection from words.

There is a whole industry making a living out of this insidious nonsense.
And then there is the typical wokey desperate to feel important, desperately swinging at barely visible ghosts so they can ruin some berk's life.

Am I going to be able to raise my hands to glad all over or throw my hand in the air after a goal at the next home game without being accused of doing a Nazi salute and being racist?
