Reform

Coming two weeks after the murder of Ann Widdlecombe it's really foolish.

I doubt it's deliberate and it's more likely to be thoughtlessness.....but you can hardly blame Reform for being touchy at the moment.

It is 100% deliberate.

Well, when you chop someone's head off you are technically creating two peaces.....sorry two pieces.

This just proves how dim or malicious those people were on the left to complain about Farage needing funds for security.
Have you stopped to consider that the use of the guillotine image could be figuritive? Wanting to cast Reform to the dustbin of history? There’s no actual threat, nor incitement to others. It was careless and thoughtless but also never supported when reposted along with others.

Far too much is being made of a bag of nothing. In future the Greens will be more careful when blanket publishing pictures of one of their events.

Imagine if Trump had done something like that.....He would have zero excuses and would be doing his usual rant.

But because it's his anti white tribe he'll fall over himself to make excuses.

Some of which I agree with....but unlike him I think it applies across the board left or right of any type.

And I also recognise that people like Farage need proper security because of the extra threat from the far left.
Trump does far worse than this all the time, often without any comment at all. We being so conditioned to it.

Farage needs security because of his controversial opinions. Just like others with views that divide they tend to enrage some. Not just those on the “far left” though. I know some very middle of the road types who get very wound up by him. Not that they would ever consider violence as an answer but there are nut jobs out there who might.

So I agree he needs protection, and to listen to those charged with protecting him so he takes sensible precautions.

Opinions now need protection even if they are no where near the law.
Do you not see the irony in that !

“Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense.” [Orwell]

No one wants to see people arrested and jailed for mean tweets. The looney lefties started this so they can take a dose of their own medicine.
When what you dismiss as a “mean tweet” has the capacity to incentivise others to violence, yes they do. It’s against the law. An innocent republishing of someone else’s picture, without comment, let alone endorsement, is not remotely comparable.

My interpretation is that it is an image showing someone "getting the chop". An expression that goes back generations meaning to lose your job, not your head.

But wearing it and endorsing it so soon after the murder is just plain stupid as well as a whole raft of other things.

Remove post, apologise, don't do it again.

One thing is certain. The Greens are just as inept as Reform.

Imagine if the t-shirt was worn by a Reform party member and it referred to Polanski and Farage had re-tweeted it.
Imagine the outrage that would be expressed by the likes of Wisbelch.

Trump repeatedly does similar. Not only is he using (abusing?) his powers to go after almost anyone he feels have previously 'wronged' him (ex FBI head James Comey etc) , but he has repeatedly called out individuals or positions that has resulted in their home details getting released and either having to go into hiding and/or the police assign protection. The Georgia electoral officers in 2020 being prime examples
