It's debatable. It's been claimed it stood for Fully Acknowledged Brother or it was just an abbreviation for Fabby (it was the sixties after all). What the hell did that stand for . . .?

A great looking shirt but it was really horrible material. I seem to remember that the collars on old '70s shirts were always tight.I bought that Admiral sash shirt in Alders of Croydon in 1978... the most scratchy ill-fitting uncomfortable football shirt I've ever owned. Sold it to a mate at a whopping £5 and a copy of Mayfair...

I have one at home. It nearly fits me. Hardly believeable it's the real one. They seem like cheap fakes. Off the top of my head, it was around £10. Sounds a bargain now but that was quite a bit back then.A great looking shirt but it was really horrible material. I seem to remember that the collars on old '70s shirts were always tight.
If not it could explain a lot šI have one at home. It nearly fits me. Hardly believeable it's the real one. They seem like cheap fakes. Off the top of my head, it was around Ā£10. Sounds a bargain now but that was quite a bit back then.
I can't remember what the actual player shirts were like but surely different material.

Probably describes most of the posters on Palace Talk...One more Thunderbirds reference.
In 1994 Hristo Stoichkov was described as looking like, "the sort of person who kidnaps Lady Penelope and does things to her on hillsides".

Wait until the shirt is in the club shop before getting it from DHGate. It will be missing intricate details, only visible up close in person on the shirt, if you get it before it's physically availableThe sash white kit that has been reported as our new kit (not sure home or away but assume away) is now available on DH Gate. I got last years shirt there with Winners 26 and also got it last year with Winners 25. I am going to get it as I like it anyway even if its not really the kit but the fact its on there pretty much confirms its one of the kits
I am going to order it for a mighty... £16 including delivery.
Its the same place I got this years England Home and Away shirts... exactly the same as my mates full priced ones. £27 for both.
UPDATE: It actually comes up as the AWAY kit when you order it.
