The spectre of violence on grounds of race or ethnicity is always a danger.

So, I would disagree, AS. Although circumstances may differ, it matters not.

Last night, as we saw, people burnt homes because they believed that the people within them deserved it on account of their race and colour, nothing else.

In Germany, on Crystalnacht, businesses and homes were destroyed because they believed the people inside them deserved it on account of their race, nothing else.

The real problem is the rise of the far left who permeate so many positions of power and influence these days.

So why does everyone on here go on about 'the Liberal elite' being to blame for everything when, in fact, it is big businesses, multinationals, the hedge funds who machinate towards less equality, more manipulation, more exploitation all in the name of profit.

It was a reaction to someone being beheaded that did actually happened. It wasn't made up or organised by any particular political party. I also didn't hear of any systematic targetting of businesses or homes due to skin colour or anything of that kind. I heard the main anger is directed at the authorities.
There was no false burning of a government building. Everyone saw another unwanted scum bag try to kill someone. Although the authorities wanted it hidden, of course.
It's called genuinely getting angry. It has no connection to German politics, or even actions of the 1930s. Or anytime at all. Not even a tenuous connection.

Yet those who rioted made no distinction. They could've attacked the police instead of chanting "Foreigners out!". If you're a 'foreigner' you're the enemy.

I'm not saying that those who protest all want that but these demos are hi-jacked by the Yaxley-Lennon stormtroopers.

It won't take long, either, before some scumbag politician attempts to harness hatred for their political ambitions. Then we'll see systemic.

Possibly for the same reason that some people feel the need to accuse others of being Nazis all the time.
These big money boys must rub their hands together watching everyone being busy accusing each other.

On Tuesday night Pastor Jack McKee, who was helping people on the Crumlin Road, north Belfast who had been affected, said some of those he was assisting were members of his church "who have been with us for 20 years".

"They're good Christian people and they're getting put out just because they're black," he said.

"I'm doing my best to help them."
