Conference league final tickets

There's a direct train from Wroclaw to Leipzig on Wednesday morning/early afternoon. And then think we'd just find anywhere to stay in Leipzig night of the game, train the Berlin Thursday fly back Thursday. 40 odd quid for one way from Berlin to "London"
I've been to Wroclaw, it's nice, town square is good. Look out for the dwarf statues they are everywhere.

Does anyone know why Uefa are already allocating tickets? It seems bizarre considering the teams in the final are not settled and this will potentially result in genuine fans of the finalists missing out.

For anyone wincing at flight prices then I would recommend extending the trip. That week has a bank holiday. So why not travel on Sunday night (after the Arsenal game) or Monday and take Tuesday off work too. There’s loads to do in Berlin before travelling down to Leipzig.
I'd be looking at train options anyway as we may be short of jet fuel before long.

If you are feeling optimistic then you can apply for the final tickets:

I'd normally swerve against tempting fate. But you know there are many factors (if you can afford to ) that go in favour of buying now, not least of which:
1. You don't have to wait until the CPFC ticket office and their phases kick-in to buy with certainty
2. You can make advance travel and hotel arrangements, thus saving a bit of money

However, fuel prices might add costs to your trip. And be aware of the war zone in the Gulf, whose activities might impact a wider area.
And the complete shambles of EU border controls for Non-EU citizens at airports.

Just looked at flights to Berlin, all around £250/300 return now. I thought I read that someone said they were available for £40 a couple of days ago.

Yes I think that was for flying into Wroclaw(Poland)? It might be worth looking at fares from UK regional airports into Germany apart from London for potentially cheaper options.
Flying into Prague might still be a cheaper option and then you can get train to Leipzig. Its nailed on that fares are only going one way and thats higher and flights from the UK may get sold out completely.
I wonder whether many fans from the other clubs still in the compeition have tried to get tickets and travel for the final?

Fyi Hamburg and Frankfurt are 4hr and 3hr train journeys away from Leipzig and possibly cheaper airports to fly to. Train tickets are relatively cheap ATM too. Might be worthwhile spreading the trip over a couple of days though so you don't travel the whole thing in one day. Living in Hamburg, I can definitely recommend it as a decent city to spend an evening.

I do realise that and I also realise that there were only two seats left on the flight out.

That 'only 2 seats left' thing I'm sure is a con. I booked two flights to England recently both of which said the same. Then when it came to selecting your seat the majority were miraculously empty!

Glad you've got it sorted though... Now let's hope we get there 🤞🤞🤞

Folks are booking up their hotel and flight already because there is limited supply and prices are rising partly due to FOMO, even flights to Frankfurt aren't cheap anymore. Can personally vouch for Hamburg, they have a picturesque red light district😉 Just looked and flight prices to Hamburg which are still reasonable.

Cast aside the "tempting fate" angle its just about the financials - you just know it will cost an arm and a leg further down the road. Am so annoyed at not entering the ticket ballot.

I reckon we have got about 15k season ticket holders, if we get to the final and are given 11.5k tickets hoping that 10k season ticket holders out of the 15k want to go so that i have a chance of a ticket as only have 4k Parish points. They should hopefully prioritise people who have gone to European games as well.
As much as I agree with this, what about the people who don't have thousands of parish points and wanted to go to away matches but couldn't due to lack of points. 😔
