He was wrong not because it isn’t necessary to regulate the border but that a wall is a crude, very expensive and likely ineffective way to do it.

It was a land grab pure and simple. It just added to the oppression of the Palestinian and gave further distance from land that was taken from them by force.

Building a wall along the Rio Bravo is a very different thing. But then he promised this wall as core to his mandate on his first term. He didn't lay a brick. And still got voted in for a second term.

I am not sure this speaks of the stupidity of the American people or the criminal ineptitude of the political opposition.

It was 96 miles long. Trump’s proposed wall was to cover the 2000 mile border between the US and Mexico and at least 900 miles of wall was needed to achieve that.

I can't remember the exact figures, but the cost of dropping some of those bombs on Iran, would have paid for a complete do over of the American infrastructure.

I appreciate that may sound broad. However put another way; our governments always finds money for war.

There was a person in the Idf who came out and said that the area was very poorly protected.

It was also noted that it was a very dangerous place to hold a festival so close to the border.

By a strange coincidence, Isreal were able to destroy and take over Palestine based on the events of October 7th. Which is/was their long running plan

Far from capable. However I'm not disagreeing with him over his stance.

stamer is hardly an anti war advocate. Do you remember the meeting he had with Biden. He proposed something along the lines of using British bases to fire American bombs against Russia. Fortunately it didn't happen. I'd have to check it out to make sure that's what he offered; but it was something that would have brought us in directly.

Plus the amount of money spent by the UK taxpayer on a proxy war has taken even more wealth from us.
