Glasner Out

Because it IS tedious. People bitched and whined for months wanting an end to Roy Hodgson's style of play. Dyche would be the same with less experience. No thanks. I dont know about anyone else but my ambitions as a Palace fan longer end at finishing 17th. I'm not unrealistic but one thing Glasner has shown all of us is a little bit more than that is possible if we are willing to be brave and play on the front foot.
I have no issue with Dyche as a person. I'm sure he's a really nice bloke but I consider employing him as a backward step
I think it is more a case of having players of the quality of Eze, Guehi, and a firing Mateta in the team. Add Olise from those games coming up to two years ago and we'd probably easily be challenging for a Champions League spot

I don't think there's anyone currently (or imminently) available, who is better than Glasner. Because that's what the fans who want him gone now, seem to have overlooked.
Glasner will be gone soon, in any event, then the brown stuff is likely to hit the fan. It's a tough job being manager at a selling club, and not a lot of good managers might fancy that.

He was going anyway so to see out his term under a cloud makes no difference really. If the reason not to sack him was due to manager availability then fair enough but I think it’s parish having a game with him and his entourage tbh.

We have a 3 week break now, if Parish wanted to get his revenge now would be a good time. I am sure he's thought about it but unless he's got our manager for next season lined up to start he would just be scuppering our chances of winning this competition for petty revenge so I don't think he will.

Be funny if we got to the semi final and were safe with say 4 games to go and he pumps him. Karma is that bitch 👍

Yup that was my first thought but I think that Parish is the bigger man and will not risk a chance of glory for the club over petty revenge.

If we had lost like night I think he would have gone but as it is we are stuck with each other until the end of the season.

Every player has improved under glasner, name me one player who hasn't ? If it was just down to the players, they wouldn't waste money having a manager
Players who haven't improved under him?
Pino, Nketiah, Johnson, Guessand, Larsen, Sosa, Esse, Uche.
There's also an argument that Wharton has gone backwards this season.

This might seem unfair as the majority are recent additions and it's still early days, but I'm not sure I see them improving in Glasner's limited remaining time with the club.
Glasner doesn't seem to know what to do with Nketiah, Larsen will not succeed if he continues to receive no service and nor will Pino if he continues to be shoehorned in an unsuitable role.

To counter this Sarr and JPM have improved under Glasner.

Proper business people try not to have grudges, because you need to keep all options open. Football is different, because it's very much in the public eye and the emotional (good) stuff is what the audience want. SJ even said about how Bruce left Palace, that they still talked and Bruce was even invited to SJ's Birthday party.
Thank goodness Parish is running the show. I don't think Palace would get a better owner, and we have to trust his judgement. But even he makes the odd mistake. 🙂

Pino is in a bad run of form but came on last night and changed the game. Showed us what he can do.
Nketiah has been plagued with injury breaks but hard to tell if he's improved given that he was an 80th minute substitute for Arsenal every week.
Johnson, Guessand are impossible to tell yet but Guessand has definitely played better for us than Villa.
Larsen has scored more since he moved to us - improvement.
Sosa was always shite and Ajax basically drove him to Croydon.
Esse doesn't play for Palace.
Uche is a chaos machine but who knows if he's improved or not because no one had heard of him before he signed for us.

Question is - will Glasner leave Crystal Palace in a better state than he found us? The simple answer is, yes.
Anyone suggesting Dyche need a severe head wobble.

No, he isn't, Palace are terrible under Glasner
Palace have been terrible under Glasner coincidentally since he announced privately to Parish that he wasn't going to stay on after his term expired. Before then he wasn't terrible. He did also lose his three most gifted players, two of which this season, again a complete coincidence that the team plays worse without its more gifted players. Funny that.

The question was 'name a player who has not improved under Glasner.'
Nobody can seriously argue that the players listed have improved under him.
One can make excuses, list mitigating circumstances, blame the players, but ultimately they have not improved.
I do hold Glasner partly responsible because of his tactical inflexibility which sets up players to fail.

Under glasner we've had 3 players get moves to city, arsenal and Munich, the most players represented by england at a major tournament, 2 trophies, highest points finish in the prem, got into Europe and are currently in the quater finals of a European competition, these are all facts.

Any discussion about what other managers could and couldn't do is hypothetical and irrelevant.
