After week of travelling I have caught up with some new posts. Here I can only hope it would be enough although even I cannot imagine that we won't pick up the odd point or two. From the safety of the hotel rooms and sky, the performances on the pitch do seem to have improved albeit not our late season purple patch (yet). That said, I seriously think that it is not at all unthinkable that West Ham, Forest and Leeds could collect a minimum of 15 points each, including 3 each vs our boys. Thus I am looking rather at 44 and a record points haul for the third relegated team. I am certainly not relaxed yet but I am a contender for the most pessimistic of lifelong supporters (with good reasson).

I expect we will pick up a couple of draws simply because the opposition will get bored watching us and fall asleep. That will probably be enough but I think it could be tight in the final analysis

I think we’ll be ok only because of the four poor teams below us. One of them will have a poor run in and that’s all we need. Hardly inspiring though.

Going by today’s and Thursday’s fiasco I’m not confident of one more point coming our way. Those below us are better than us. Until today I wouldn’t have said that about Spurs but they looked much better against Liverpool earlier. Let’s hope we improve and perhaps a win next Thursday will improve confidence?

One of Spam, Spurs and Forest wont get more than a couple of wins in the last 8 games. 18th wont reach 40 points. Palace and the others above us are safe.
