Leeds Predictions.

Looking for a convincing performance to avenge our big defeat away at Leeds.
We seem to be hitting something of a purple patch ,particularly after the Spurs game and I see us emerging victorious 2-1.
 
How have we tended to do after European matches? I'd take not losing currently. A win would be nice but Leeds might genuinely have the slight edge on us when you consider it. I presume Munoz will be out.

We have European games either side and you feel like Leeds need this more than we do.

Even so, we should be good enough to get a result on a good day. A win would see us safe baring freak occurrences.
 
In the away fixture we produced propably our worst performance of the season so far. There were reasons for that. One being the heavy fixture congestion coming right on the heels of the Carabao cup quarter final against Arsenal as well as the final Conference League game of 2025. Leeds knew our squad was thin due to injuries/AFCON and refused to rearrange for 2026 knowing we'd struggle.
While I appreciate they were desperate for the points I still feel it was an unfair advantage which showed on the night. No excuses though, we were awful.

We owe them one though and I really hope our players feel the same.

Yes I think whatever the result, they won’t roll us over and bully us into defeat this time like they did at their place. We have turned the corner a bit and teams don’t usually beat us up like that even if we do lose

I’ll go 1-1 in a much more competitive game on our part

He should think himself lucky, we’ve got a much longer list of refs we wouldn’t be happy about, Taylor, England, Hooper, Friend, that t*** who disallowed Eze’s perfectly good goal against Brentford and then stitched us up again later in the season(name escapes me)
 
We haven’t won a single game immediately following a European tie but we didn’t play at the weekend and things seem to be clicking into place with the new signings, and we’ve started scoring again, and Leeds are decent at home but they’ve only won once away this season, so I’m going to say we win this one 3-1.

Not quite right we just about squeezed past Wolves after the Mostar game on the Thursday.
 
Leeds are doing well now and we do badly after Europe. However... An argument that perhaps as the season is progressing we'll be better equipped to deal with it.

Lacroix is back tomorrow, Munoz is missing it but could be back for Leeds, Mateta back in the squad meaning we have a load of attacking options.

Even though the performances aren't brilliant, our form is improved and the players must be gaining confidence again.

Ill say a 2-1 win.
 
Leeds have played better this year than their points tally suggests. They also have Calvert Lewin in decent nick and they are dangerous opponents.

We are usually hung over after European ties but in this case I think we have some momentum. I think we'll score two goals for some reason. So I will go 2-2.
 
it's got 1-1 written all over it, might even have a couple of quid on it but lucky to get more than 5-1 on a 1-1 draw these days, used to be 7-1 minimum when I started betting. 🙁
