nothing to do with esse lad. Its just your love affair with this austrian who has time and time again disrespected this club is baffling to me and quite honestly disturbing. Once Glasner leaves, you can go with him to whatever mid-table German team picks him up. 👍👍

I think he is a top manager. I disagree with his behaviour. I think he should have kept quiet about leaving or resigned. I think after criticizing the fans Parish should have sacked him. All of which I have said before but you dont want to read posts of people that disagree with you because thats what children do when they have a tantrum.
Glasner remains a top manager. I will continue to back the team as I have always done. Glasner is capable of doing very well between now and the end of the season but its not about him. Never has been. Unlike yourself who has probably become a die hard Coventry fan even though Esse cant even get in their team! 🤣 🤣 🤣

I simply said I dont know how I'd feel about that for obvious reasons. Sticking with him may bring more success but his time with Palace is now tainted.

Time to stop pandering to Glasner. I think the Board should sack him before Kick off against Manyoo. That'll show our next manager that Palace aren't to be messed with.
If Palace put Paddy in charge for the manyoo game, then we arrive with the new manager bounce, and everything will be great again.
Let's hope the HF have put up another suitably antagonistic banner, which should get lots of media coverage, and a special mention on Match of the Day

I think everybody knows your opinion of Glasner, there is no need to keep repeating it. It's evident that the board have decided to let him see out his contract, if another club comes in for him before, I dare say the board would happily expect a compensation package.

And you this how, i would think he will judged by performance, 5-0 defeat by Spurs, and it would change, lets hope that doesn't happen.

My opinion is more or less founded on the amount of emphasis that seemed to be placed on his previous EC competition experience - so its not really based upon anything substantial, more like a gut feel.

Whilst I get that, experience only gets you so far, he no longer has the players to play his preferred style so I don’t really see how that “experience” benefits us.

It seems to be a bit of an accepted reality on here that the players no longer fit Glasner's system, but I'm not sure I agree at all;

Munoz - wing-back specialist. Seems far better suited to a wing-back role than a back four

Richards - all of his best form for us has come as part of a back 3. Well suited to it, never looked half as impressive in a 2.

Lacroix - was signed specifically as a player who has excelled in Glasner's system at Wolfsburg -we've never seen him play in a 2.

Canvot/Riad - both young and unproven. They are offered far more protection defending in a 3 than a 2 - I'd suggest both would be very high risk as 1 of 2 CBs at this stage of their career.

Mitchell - arguably the most suited to play in a back four, although he has been fantastic as a wing-back for 2 years now.


If the alternative to our current system is a back four of Munoz Richards Lacroix Mitchell... I'm FAR from convinced that is an improvement.
