There are no morality arguments other than what Israel considers to be in its best interests......Under Trump this is their last chance to finish off opposition in the middle east and they aren't going to let that slip. That's been said on the forum a long time ago.

So any cover story is just that ultimately.

If US/Israel get good deals out of the attack that's just a bonus for them, rather than the main motive.

I can't see there being regime change without boots on the ground and many thousands of US dead......I can't see Trump doing that, so I foresee a lot of bombing and death but nothing changes, just a lot of bombast......Iet's just pray that no one drops a nuke.

How lovely that the USA was so concerned about the mistreatment of Iranian protesters, it has decided to bomb the shiet out of everyone.

Honestly it's laughable. Military objective targets duh and Trumps speech focussed on that Iran are an extreme active threat and enemy, sponsors of terror and murder. But because it's Trump....
