Lose against Wolves on Sunday could very well start our unrecoverable journey down to the Championship, given the enviable form of West Ham,Leeds and probably,Forest under their new Manager.

So we just give up and enjoy a trip back to our comfort zone of dwindling attendances, star players sold, journeymen players, a foreign manager nobody knows about, losing on cold Tuesday nights in Preston and a 10 year exile from the top flight?

Glasner has done himself no favours with his recent outbursts, but I hope this little pipe dream that you are clamouring for blows up in your face on Sunday. But then again, some fans have defeatist attitudes and only come out of the woodwork when things go bad.

Appoint Sean Dyche. He won't demand too much. The football will be ugly as hell, but we'll just about survive and that will suit the board nicely.

Supported us for over 50 years and I've seen some spectacular fall from graces before, but this one is possible going to eclipse the Venables/Team of the Eighties and the downfall of the team that finished 3rd.

Agree Jacey, Wolves will be a tough nut to crack. They looked good, recovering from a 2 goal deficit to get a draw with Man City the other day. Lose on Sunday and we could be doomed.

After watching our dire performance last night I struggle to understand how bad we have become in a few months.
Residing as I do, in the Düsseldorf metropolis I only get to few matches per season and have to rely on the delights of my SKY package delivering me live streams. However, too much more of this dross and I might cancel my subscription. I'm trying to consol myself with memories and comparisons with being a season ticket holder all through the gloomy thrid division days. Small mercies, although that also makes the thought of returing to such dark times more gloomy. Please, no.

We have plenty of choices of manager now. Personally would like Robbie Keane, but would also be happy with Thomas Frank. I've also changed my mind on Ange and think that could be a decent appointment. Dyche I'm ok with, but it's a bit uninspiring. Pretty much anyone but Glasner basically, who clearly doesn't give a crap about the club anymore .

Get Dyche in for the remainder of the season - he will keep us up and wouldn't he love to win the Conference.
As for the long term future - who knows.
Look at the last time Dyche managed a s*** team- how did that end up?
I think his time as a PL manager has passed now. Appointing Dyche is the treatment prescribed to a terminally ill team.

Robbie Keane interesting chatter, he’s built a decent reputation for himself, whether he can do anything on the good ship Crystal Palace in the cut throat premier league is another matter, but I would be quite Keane for him to be announced

I tend to agree. One thing about the type of manager you mention is they will demand effort. Some of our guys aren't trying.
If Dyche was appointed & under performance review till EOS I worry we do survive drop yet Parish keeps him on but next season we loose first 6 games under him - = no benefit getting him in early , for further trouble down the road to sack him by Oct

Current Conference League winning managers:

Mourinho
Moyes
Mendilibar
Maresca

Ignoring Maresca, who simply led a massive club in a minnow’s competition, it’s quickly becoming the competition of anti-football and no-nonsense football 😂 Dyche would very much fit that trend.

Alternatively, they all start with ‘M’. A good omen for Paddy McCarthy?
