Zrinjski vs. Crystal Palace match thread

Very sorry for the faithful who travelled at great expense to watch an embarrassing, lack lustre performance.
Now proven we are at fault for not finding a Guehi replacement instead of wasting £35million on Johnson.
We lack a leader and the back three (whoever we cobble together) have no idea how to initiate attacking forward passes - great at sideways and backwards passing. We beat them 4-1 in number of passes but 95% were not forward. Lacroix is a disappointment - he just teaches Riad and Canvot to play it sideways.
Doesnt help that we only have Wharton as productive midfield with Kamada just not finding space behind the forwards. Basically we lack ball skills and every time we play in Europe it shows.

If we are to start winning again the system must change as the players we have left can't play to it, whether because they are fed up with Glasner or just dispirited.

Memo to Parish: Hang the expense, pay off Glasner's contract and let Paddy take over until we have a complete re-set.

Teams just have to sit back ,hustle our midfield or wait for the nailed on mistakes and pounce .
Better finishing and we would of lost 3/4 -1

I said before the game, that we needed to see how the team performed tonight to judge what to do about OG in the short term.
Well on that performance I honestly do not want him in the dugout on Sunday against Wolves.
Wolves is a must win game and I no longer trust the players to be professional enough to win it with OG in charge.
They need to be hit with a bloody big stick and shove the carrot up OG arse on his way out.
Anyone of us could have got a better performance out of the team tonight, and if they are not prepared to take responsibility then Paddy or similar needs to be putting the boot in.

Kamada is trying to force Parish to put him on Garden leave

BJ what on earth did we get sold ?
I think Levi will be calling Steve & be saying I tried to warn you he wasn’t Kosher

What the hell has happened. In my 65 years of following my beloved Palace, in the space of 10 months it’s gone from the happiest, greatest most memorable day of my life to the utter disgraceful, boring shambles we are seeing today.
That’s the bloody problem with success. We all forgot what it is like to be a Palace fan.

There were some bright spots. Riad impressed. Likewise Sarr. Apart from giving the ball away for the Z goal, Wharton was very good. But Kamada, Pinot and Johnson seem too lightweight to make an impact. I always feel happier if we start with Hughes.

The important thing is to get behind our players - and the manager - in the challenging next few weeks.
