Ive seen a few rumours around Adi Hütter, but i can't see it.

Parish and the board need to identify what style of football they want and if the target is to stay up, or to try and push on. We also need to think we have a chance of Europa League next season & that gives us a much higher chance of getting a better calibre of manager in...plenty of managers in that list would do ok for us, but I suspect we'll end up with someone random, fingers crossed it works! Whats De Boer up to these days😬

Maybe Herzeler? Is he young enough for you? He's f**kin' hopeless simply through lack of experience and very poor judgement. No, the club needs an experienced manager and Postecoglou is a better bet.
The words 'Postecoglu' and 'better bet' do not belong in the same sentence

Rather than concentrating on this list let’s consider those others either out of a job, out of contract in the summer or who will probably be pushed out by stupid owners. My list would include:
Xabi Alonso. Won the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, a team about the size of Palace but without the potential. Most large clubs will feel he is not up to managing their expectations after his short spell at Real Madrid.
Eddie Howe. Has done well with Newcastle but will his Arab masters be satisfied with mid table and the occasional trip to Europe? When he gets the push he will probably want to come back down south….and who wouldn’t!
Luis Enrique Martinez Garcia. Struggling behind Lens in Ligue1 this season despite having a talented squad with loads of players from the PSG Academy (Palace beat PSG 7-3 in the International Cup 2022). EPL looks nailed on for him but which team? Outsider for the prestigious Palace job!
Andoni Iraola. Has been written off by many on here who expect him to be picked up by a top team. However, the history of inexperienced managers suggest they may wait to see how he performs in another appointment. Look at Thomas Frank, Rob Edwards, Nathan Jones, Patrick Vieira, etc to see how many are successful in larger clubs.
I’m sure we could come up with a few more.

Absolutely zero chance of that happening. I realise you are in jest, but just to comment on it.

If he was ever going to be given a chance we would’ve gave him a longer shot the first time round. Whilst we had a terrible start to the season, it really wasn’t much time at all to tell anything based on results alone.

Steve either had cold feet about such a drastic change of tack… and the risk of the appointment… or else he saw something behind the scenes that made him loose all faith. Either way, it spelt an extremely permanent parting of ways and there is no chance in hell of reacquainting.

Quite funnily, all the bookies have his brother Ronald listed as the most outsider market available, without Franciscus appearing at all. I wonder if it’s just that they mixed the two up. 100-1 shot currently on SkyBet and PaddyPower. Tied with Wilfried Nancy on both. Could just as well offer 100000-1.

Would you consider yourself one of life’s dreamers? Nothing wrong in that, but I highly doubt we would register on Xabi Alonso or Luis Enrique’s radars.

A slight chance at Xavi Hernandez, who’s in a different situation in his career in comparison.
