I would object to his signing on the basis that he sounds foreign.Indeed, as would striker Kasper Hogh of Bodo/Glimt in my humble opinion.
Scotland
The same reason Bert Head didn't sign Franz Beckenbauer.I would object to his signing on the basis that he sounds foreign.
I have spoken.

Why the long face?£50m on a donkey

He is definitely not a £40 million player… £50 million is now being reported as agreed on SKY. The world has truly gone mad.He is nowhere near a 40m player. Clearly we're selling Mateta - who is also not a 40 m player. I feel there are better deals to be had.

Way too expensive!Seems expensive.

We'd get fleeced either way.He is definitely not a £40 million player… £50 million is now being reported as agreed on SKY. The world has truly gone mad.
How much would a prime shearer cost now???

That is actually a very good way of looking at it. But still £50 big ones 😳😳😳Its a like for like isn't it ? Get 35 for Mateta 45 for this lad means this lad has cost us 10 . Not bad seeing as we will be replacing a player that doesn't want to be here with one that does
I think thats not a bad deal ,we know how limited JPM is ,just think when Larsen through on goal shoots straight at the keeper , what fun we will be able to have on here 🙂

He was able to produce last year in a struggling wolves teams he will come good for usView attachment 2749
He's not too bad and with Sarr and johnson putting in crosses we should be good imo
baboon's arse with shovel… That absolutely wins my comment of the day. GeniusMy take on this is, if we get 40m for JP and it costs us only another 5 to get JSL then it's a great deal for a much younger player who can knock them in. Admittedly neither of them can hit a baboon's arse with shovel at the moment but I'll back him to do well in our team. JP's head was turned when Ebs went.

If Im being honest this really feels like the beginning of the end. We are going away from the principles that made us such a good team and are now going down the path of teams such as West Ham just spunking millions of pounds with little resale value. Hopefully this is just a flash in the pan and we can get back to the identity of the club which is as you stated buying homegrown youngsters from the ChampionshipYes ..... It isn't our money however we haven't got endless amounts to spend on players. Especially with FFP. If we blow 50M on JSL and he turns out to be a dud weve essentially lost 50M in what we can spend in the future. If we have 50M to spend theres 2 or 3 players better we could sign.
What happened to buying the cream of the championship?
Geuhi, Wharton, Eze, Olise,Esse where has that idea gone.
