War in Ukraine

History will see this war as the transition between the pre-existing normal warfare and drone warfare.

It's like the introduction of the tank in WW1.

We are seeing mass use of drones, until there is a effective defence against them they have become the defacto killing system.....It's become about how many and how effective.

Farage is doing what Wilson would have done, getting involved in Ukraine only gets us losing billions and.....if Starmer gets his way, mostly white working class patriotic lads (the group he looks down on the most) in body bags.

Starmer and co can waffle about combating Russia but we don't have the war production factories and the ammo production facilities.....it would take between five and ten years to get up to speed to fight a long war. Also this talk of five percent defence spending for foreign wars is a fantasy.....it would have to come out of welfare and pensions and I don't see governments doing that unless they have declared war.

Ursula von der Leyen stated that Ukraine will not have to repay its €90 billion loan to Europe unless it receives "full reparations" from Russia.

I take no pleasure in being proven right.

It's like Covid, those that supported all this will be the ones taking the hits in their pensions.....it won't be the rich decision makers.

They get to fail upwards and live in nice rich safe areas.

AI factories churning out thousands of drones a day in future will permanently alter the dynamics of warfare for all time.
A bigger change than the advent of gunpowder.

But even that won't be the biggest lesson from the Ukraine War.
The biggest lesson will be how the WEF scheming behind the scenes became apparent to almost everyone, bar a few BBC devotees.
 
Adviser known to be close to Putin has stated that a continued Ukraine war will see Russia nuke both Britain and Germany.

But apparently I'm meant to support this war because Putin bad.

So my family is meant to die because enough boomers don't care about the future as they have had their time and think Britain can make a difference? It's the same logic that putting rubbish in differently coloured bins is helping climate change.

Ukraine isn't even in Nato......Nato is militarily 80 percent American.....Trump is threatening to attack a Nato country....which would mean it ends.

Our leaders and all of those who supported us getting to this point are criminally stupid and criminally irresponsible.

Even if there's only a ten percent chance of us getting nuke this is insane.

We should get out of this pointless and disastrous war right now.

To what end? There is no strategic benefit to using nukes.
Russian cities would be vaporized.

Aside from arguments about going or not, why should the EU subsidize us if we do? Expansion of Russia beyond Ukraine attacks NATO not the EU.

Britain and France are not discussing a joint combat force to liberate Ukraine. They are mooting a garrison force to secure an effective armistice when signed.

This presupposes a lot. That neither side wins. That Russia agrees. That the form of post war settlement is such that a garrison force is even feasible.

You are getting well ahead of yourself.

Meanwhile, the war wages on and the British military (and others) continues to use that country as a crash test dummy for our latest kit.

Putting our lads in danger over a war that has nothing to do with us and that we have already spent....without agreement with Russia it's completely irresponsible.

Looking at the figures, Britain has spent 13 billion in direct military aid to Ukraine to kill Russians and as a total whole Britain has pledged a total of £21.8 billion in all forms of support to Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022.

If anyone thinks we are getting any of that back I'd advise them to smell some coffee.

The people who make this policy should be on the dole.

I'm sort of with you, but this 'Us' you speak of, I assume you are referring to the UK as a single united entity.

But some of 'Us' clearly aren't 'Us'.

Starmer is on record that he prefers dealing with the WEF and Davos than his own parliament.
That's because Davos are the people he works for.
They are his 'Us'. If they are happy, he is happy.
Never-ending war suits the WEF, Bilderberg Group, Davos, etc. Its actually their intention.
If a few 'patriotic' white working class British lads get blown apart in the Donbas, then that's an added bonus for them. Saves them the trouble of thinking up excuses to lock those same people away in British prisons.
 
Reuters reports, Putin will end the war as soon as Ukraine leaves Donbas, and there will be a "freeze" on the front line in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions: this is what will be discussed today in the Emirates.
 
Negotiations between Moscow and Kiev delegations in Abu Dhabi have reached an impasse due to a territorial dispute, according to Clash Report.

Negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict will continue in the UAE next week.
 
Seems to me that both sides are putting on the negotiations for show.

As many have said, the war continues probably until Russia decide to stop.

Many in the top Ukrainian leadership will be fearful of signing away any land as that marks them out as a 'Michael Collins' figure who would have to be looking over their shoulder.

Then again, if they don't eventually sign, they might have to fear the CIA.

Russia's ability to finance the war depends largely on oil and gas income. Oil in particular is in glut territory so any recovery is unlikely. Russian banks lending for the war effort with no obvious default risk management. A collapsing economy may help bring about a Russian decision to stop.
 
Apparently their domestic airlines are falling apart and commercial passengers are taking seats inside cargo aircraft with the cargo.
