Riad & Doucoure

I know it’s highly unlikely that either will be back to their best any time soon, but is there any further updates as extra personnel would help.

Last I saw, Riad was training but with no return date and with Doucoure there’s been nothing since the beginning of the season.

According to this data there's no return date as yet for Riad but 17 January could be a big date.

Not bad TL.

I think we can take Cheik’s return date with a huge pinch of salt but it would be wonderful to see him back.
 
At 22 and 26 respectively, i fail to see how these players have been written off by many, Doucoure may, may, get back to premiership standard, and Riad is a top class CD, hopefully both have seen the back of serious injury's, and become important players to us.

I think its easy to see with doucoure, barely played in over 2 years and isn't anywhere near to being ready to even do fitness work.

Riad could be great but we’ve hardly seen him play even before the injuries. He basically played one season on loan in Spain and then a handful of appearances for us. In those appearances he did some ok stuff and some not ok stuff but the reality is we just don’t really know if he will be good or not. Hopefully he comes back, does well and it’s like a new signing.
