Think we should have this summer and loaned out cardines and Kphora(when fit)If we buy cover for Munoz it may point to the club expecting him to leave in the Summer. We should be looking to integrate Imray in the 1st team squad in the Summer IMO.

Time is short for Imray to make it in the first team. He is already 22 and hasn’t been in the first team squad. You’ve got to think if he is going to make it then he has 12 months to do so. Realistically establishing himself at Championship or lower level looks more likely at this stageThink we should have this summer and loaned out cardines and Kphora(when fit)

Poor lad has been injured for a good chunk of time, rated by clubs he's been loaned to just needs an injury free run to see how far he can goTime is short for Imray to make it in the first team. Exactly this. He's showing wherever he goes out on loan that he's often the best player on the pitch. Also, like Munoz he's shown that he can be a proper wing-back who scores goals and provides assists. I've rated him from his very first game for our AcademyPoor lad has been injured for a good chunk of time, rated by clubs he's been loaned to just needs an injury free run to see how far he can go
Can we call him back from Blackpool?.Exactly this. He's showing wherever he goes out on loan that he's often the best player on the pitch. Also, like Munoz he's shown that he can be a proper wing-back who scores goals and provides assists. I've rated him from his very first game for our Academy

Agreed. Give the lad a chance. Our bench looks so thin at the moment and he wouldn't be the weakest player on it by any stretch.Exactly this. Seems Huddersfield want to cut short his loan & send him back to us . . .Owen Goodman's last game for Huddersfield was on the 29th November.
Since then Lee Nicholls has been in goal (8 games) and Owen Goodman has been on the bench.

Huddersfield's manager is Lee Grant a former goalkeeper with nearly 470 games to his name.Seems Huddersfield want to cut short his loan & send him back to us . . .

I think it tells us something that even with injuries and lack of cover at right wing back we haven’t recalled him from loan. Tells us that while the club think he has potential he is a long way from being part of the first team squad. Look at it this way, if we announced that we were signing Blackpool’s right wing back who’d never played higher than League 1 I think we’d all be very underwhelmedAgreed. Give the lad a chance. That's assuming we included such a clause in the loan agreement.I think it tells us something that even with injuries and lack of cover at right wing back we haven’t recalled him from loan. True. Thought I’d think it is a standard clause in loan agreementsThat's assuming we included such a clause in the loan agreement.

Apparently released for free but with a sell-on percentage.Ahamada(remember him) who has been on loan at Rennes, has joined Auxerre on a permanent deal. I mentioned this on another thread few days ago about someone from there coming here(can't remember who it was now . . .Age thing).

disappointing really as he had a great loan at Wimbledon last year.Huddersfield's manager is Lee Grant a former goalkeeper with nearly 470 games to his name.
Current No 1 Lee Nicholls was signed by Carlos Corberan, another goalkeeper.
Nicholls is capable 'Between the sticks' but has collected some Yellows in the past due to time-wasting.

JRS was Charlton's player of the year; but when Roy wouldn't sanction another loan because of the then injury crisis, although he looked more likely to offer something than Ahamada or Franca, he failed to cover himself in glory.Agreed. Speaking of Franca I saw a comment from a Vasco fan earlier describing him as "sucking ass"JRS was Charlton's player of the year; but when Roy wouldn't sanction another loan because of the then injury crisis, although he looked more likely to offer something than Ahamada or Franca, he failed to cover himself in glory.
(Though had he not got injured in training before the Burnley game, who knows......? Oliver Glasner admitted he probably deserved another chance at the end of the season but then - as the next two seasons - it turned out proneness to injury cut short glimmers of promise.)
