Arsenal Predictions.

One word - Jesus. We all know he loves a goal or two against us. Done nothing for a year. If he doesn't get us, Eze is waiting in the wings to do something special no doubt. That said Nketiah might be able to reciprocate. COYP !!

I will be amazed if we manage to win and very happy if we do. It'll mean at least another 2 games to add to our tally. Reality suggests that whether Arsenal play their A team, B team or a combo of the two, they'll beat us comfortably.

Inclined to agree and would not be at all surprised to see Arsenal win, probably 3-0 whatever side they put out.

Agree.
F*vk me we’ve changed.
I remember drawing villa away in the first round of the cup when we were in the championship (they were in the premier league) took loads up there, was buzzing for the game.
Football fans moaning that other fans are entitled, by not selling their allocations at Wembley.
We’ve won ONE Fa cup and now some aren’t interested in a league cup quarter final.
Mental.

I don't care about it - only because I care about the other 3 more, and somethings gotta give.

OGs played a strong team to this point, he's not about to change that in the 1/4 final of a competition, I don't think his philosophy allows him. That said, I hope he see's that his strongest team tomorrow, may not be the same team as the strongest team was 2 months ago. for Example, Uche has proved he should start over JPM and Nketiah on current form.

I get that it’s the least important of the 4 competitions. But if we win tomorrow , we will be in the semi final. 2 games from Wembley. If you think we are knackered now, wait til the later FA Cup rounds.

Of course the prize money matters and the amount for this cup really is peanuts . You would think the FL could attract a higher bidder wouldn't you ?

But when all is said and done fans don't look at the prize money they look at the glory . Beating Arsenal on their home patch is pretty glorious whatever the competition .

So I'm going for a backs to the wall 0-0 and a 5-4 win on penalties ....COYP

Who's going to play RWB?
Glasner has said before that Clyne can't play two games just a few days apart.
If this is correct, it would seem to be a choice between Sosa, Canvot and Devenny.

None of them are natural fits for the role.

I'd be tempted to play Lerma as the left sided centre back (where he has done very well before) and play Guehi as RWB.
Guehi has the defensive nous plus the ability to bring the ball forward.

The downside is disrupting the back 3 so I doubt Glasner will do this, but it will be a tough evening down our right facing some combination of Lewis Skelly, Eze/ Trossard/ Martinelli.

Can see it now. Eze had his penalty saved after a stutter run and the arsenal fans turn on him.

It seems obvious we will lose so my only hope is that as the other 3 favourites in the draw have won that football being a wonderful game and the law of averages (slightly less reliable than sods law) there will be one shock which would be us winning

In which case we would have the chance of Wembley again (a better chance if we avoided City in the semi final)

And I am sure we would be ecstatic about it if we went all the way, as Newcastle were last year

It would also give us 3 different trophies and still a chance of the Conference

After that there would be the Europa next year and then just two to get then - and I think we know those two aren't happening (PL & CL)

What a photo for his leaving party - Marc Guehi with four different trophies in front of him

But a fantasy as Arsenal has the squad to put out two different teams that can beat our current line up

A top of the league side, v an out-of-form thread-bare side.
Logic would be with the gooners.
But this is a cup game, and with a bit of luck we'll have another round to worry about in our horrendous fixture log-jam 👍😁

Last season we got c.£135 million from our position in the premier.
We got £2 million for winning the FA cup!!!
About £10 million for the conference for the winner.
Carabao cup £100k for the winner. Laughable. One week's salary for Kamada.
So the Premier is our priority by a country mile. End of.
.........12th again who gives a f8ck we won the FA cup.....try the board for starters!!
Glory and an amazing day out.

The draw has already been made . The winners of our game with Arse play Chelsea in the semi final
