The bbc, again.

and none of them knew about Jimmy Savile ? not even David Attenborough when he was BBC boss ?

Anyhoo............getting rid of the old BBC boss will give Keir a good opportunity. A chance to put a real hardcore Liberal-commie into the driving seat. Any suggestions ?

- Jess Phillips ?
- Sadiq Khan ?

- Gary Neville/Jamie Carragher/ Gary Lineker ?
- Graham Norton ?

any others ?
There's only one person who can save this lot. Claudia

Gary Lineker was a strange one. He constantly thumbed his nose at the BBC despite repeated warning. When David took over Lineker was the obvious one to reign in and show the staff he meant business about standards if impartiality. Instead he allowed him to continue making controversial statements and going on strike.

No one person is bigger than the organisation, Lineker should know that from his football days.

Davis's failure to address the Lineker question promptly smacked of weak management.

Indeed.

Where I truly struggle is that this misrepresantation was so blatent that they MUST have known they would get a capture. Its not even subtle. Splicing together two segments of speech that are 50 minutes apart, given how much scrutiny is around these days is just mind boggling.

And for what? The BBC has to simply now be consigned to the history books. It simply cannot even pretend to be impartial now on anything because its credibility, as low as it was, is just nonexistent now.

If it wants to be biased then fine but don't force us to pay for it. Just like I don't pay for GB news or CNN or a host of others the BBC claims to be somehow superior to.
I wonder how many of the top brass actually watched it.

Blather is what 90% of everything Trump says. Removing it is a service. Almost a duty and certainly necessary to ensure the audience maintains interest.

Have you ever tried to listen to an entire Trump speech? They can last hours and contain frequent diversions, incoherence and repetition.

Kind of reminds me of someone else

BBC Director-General Tim Davie has resigned.

But it's not certain he's going because of the Trump scandal.

Perhaps he's leaving to have a baby?
