Train attack

The problem here is that we know we can't trust the government, police or news media from previous experience.

It is a cry wolf situation. Now we suspect everything and more importantly, we may never get to know the truth and might not believe it even if we do.
You can rule out the "might"!

You definitely won't believe anything that doesn't match your preconceptions.

Bit of a stretch to suggest that they hired him and he was 8 months late for the gig lol

Worth remembering that on the day of the 7 July 2005 London bombings, a private crisis management firm, Visor Consultants, was running a simulation exercise based on bombs going off simultaneously at the exact stations that were targeted in the real attacks.

I am not saying that this is definitely sus, or that the police exercise on the train line was sus.

But if anyone hears about any terrorist-prevention training exercise, I would stay well away from that location for a while.

He attacked someone with a knife on the London DLR the night before FFS
Reminds me of the longterm unemployed Algerian bloke who stabbed the little primary schoolkids in Dublin.
He had been recently caught vandalizing cars and carrying a big knife. The cops let him off without even bothering with any paperwork. Three young kids , and i think two adults. At least one of the little girls was lucky to survive the attack and she will be needing extreme care for the rest of her life.

I wonder if there is gap in the market for an affordable stab vest or coat someone could take advantage off.
Those already exist and are available in most types of clothes, including school uniform. They've been around for about twenty years now. Of course, in the US you can buy a bullet proof school uniform for a couple of grand. Sign of the times.
