Would it matter if we lost that game against Liverpool midweek? A game every 3 days is too much for the team of our size. Something has got to give or our League position will suffer.

I guess that will be the reaction by most of us if we lose. I want us to win though and a win will be one step nearer another cup?Would it matter if we lost that game against Liverpool midweek? I very much doubt if it would have made any difference at all.I guess that will be the reaction by most of us if we lose. I want us to win though and a win will be one step nearer another cup?
As for playing to many games and squad size you have to question 3 subs coming on in the 90th minute yesterday which would have helped if that change had been made at least 15 minutes earlier?

Then why make that change at all?I very much doubt if it would have made any difference at all.
We were a goal behind and those who entered the fray in the 90th minute were unlikely to engineer a revival.

Uche was a cross between a headless chicken and a bull in a china shop, indeed a headless chicken in a china shop would aptly describe his brief cameo, I hope and expect him to improve but it's looking unlikely atm he'll get the 10 starts needed to secure his transfer to us.I very much doubt if it would have made any difference at all.

I do not know of the rational for introducing the players in the dying embers of the game.It is possible that the reason was sheer fatigue, coupled with the risk of injury of key players. Then why make that change at all?

Good job you London boys are wealthy getting to all these games It’s either go to all games or the sheep for me

If I receive any information I shall share this on HOL.

His lack of rotation probably reflects his assessment of the capabilities of the fringe players.No. I love it. Constant games to look forward to. We most likely won't have this again for a long time, so enjoy it! It's a sign of how far we've come.
I do wish Glasner would rotate more. I'm of the theory that fringe players need game time to improve. Would like to see more of Esse, Eddie, Uche and Canvot. Munoz, Sarr and Mateta in particular are getting run into the ground which feels like a disaster waiting to happen.
You could try Q.P.R. taking the sheep to Shepherd's Bush you don't have to be parted from them. 😈 😆 😈Good job you London boys are wealthy getting to all these games It’s either go to all games or the sheep for me

You don't need to weaken the cup. An alternate idea is what some of the other European leagues do.If we win the game against liverpool then round five is scheduled for week beginning 15th December.

I just don't see where the games fit in. Our December fixtures go like this:
Burnely weds 3rd
Fulham Sunday 7th
Shelbourne Thursday 11th
Man city Sunday 14th
Kups Thursday 18th
Leeds Sunday 21st.
Then the Xmas period.
I've said this previously teams playing in Europe shouldnt be playing in the league cup.

They play their secondary cup competition early and get it out of the way.
So rather then start the season with players that maybe are not fully match fit the first couple of competitive games are the cup not the league. The competition is then over by Christmas so maybe have the final then or in January.

A fixture would have to be moved,no trouble if your a big club probably several court cases and a judicial review for Palace to do so, a car crash in the making. If we win the game against liverpool then round five is scheduled for week beginning 15th December.
