UEFA Conference League Dynamo Kyiv v Palace Match Thread

what is that white patch on the back of the head of Lacroix ? if he has a rash, surely a Prem player can afford matching sudocreme ? or did Hughes lend him the tub ?
I thought it was some line -marking from the pitch?

COYP!!!

We were simply better than them weren't we. I think their first hit on target wasn't until the 85th min or something unless anyone can correct me on that.

I think there was an earlier comment that Pino had 'laid it on a plate' for Eddie but I don't quite agree because Eddie's run was late and beautifully timed, so there was work to do, wasn't there. Having written that, I agree in applauding Pino's assist; that drag-back and then delivery with the outside of his right foot was F****** sublime.

Eddie's pace is electric and he's beginning to look extremely lively all round: sharp and alert which is fantastic because then JP can rest a bit, which people have mentioned. How much better can it get? I'm a typical Palace fan, I think; I keep expecting it all to come crashing down. I mean, there's always a drama and just when we think everything's going swimmingly, it all goes tits up.

These are the best Times ever, whatever, and I'm friggin' loving it.

What a header from Munoz!

Never mind Max's white head-blob, My arm's red-raw from pinching myself.

Somebody stop me!

COYP!!

He is not known for goalscoring prowess.
The most number of league goals he has scored in a season is 6.
In his last 4 full seasons at Villarreal he only scored 17 league goals.
He could be ripe for some OG special development in that area. As we see, he's got some assist capability: wonderful tonight, wasn't he. Imagine improving the goal-scoring rate too. If he can improve anywhere, it's here.

Perhaps I need to see it again but I thought it was a harsh red, not every foul is a booking but perhaps in Europe it’ll be stricter.
Agreed. After watching the scene again, I have to say in fairness that it really was a harsh second yellow card. It looked worse at first glance on my pixelated stream. The Dynamo player exaggerated the whole thing and acted like a dying swan.

In my view the Yellow was warranted.
He had been booked and 2 mins later he makes a clumsy challenge near the touchline with his team coasting to victory.Tut Tut.

Brilliant night and well played Palace!
Wharton, Pino & Munoz stood out for me but every player was top class.
Glasner is immense and the ball keeps rolling on to Everton on Sunday.
Come on you Palace!!

very solid performance , Pino looked good takes that into the prem happy days , Sosa what a dick , there was no need . up to that point he was doing ok , Nketiah yes scored but then got greedy had a easy pass but run and took a shoot , there was a big space think it was Munoz who was clear , he needs to open his eyes , JP had the defender in all sorts of trouble but we couldnt get the right ball to him , blushes saved with that miss when through being offside , and deserved tobe rested he needs it , watching the game noticed how quick we change formation , went from 3,5,2 to 4,4,2 back to 3,5,2 and done so naturally Kiev couldnt handle us

It didn't look offside to me but there was no line drawn, of course, as he did not put the ball in the net. Mateta has got the greatest negative goals v xG, in the Premier League, this season and has been through on goal with nothing in his arsenal other than striking it hard. Nketiah's was well taken as wasthe one where he was marginally offside

Think Pino has the attributes to make a difference with goals but hey keep those assists coming.

I'm still buzzing 😊

Would like to see Uche involved a bit more but its all good 👍
What worries me about Uche now is, would he even want the transfer if he's not getting picked? He seems a bargain but he won't be coming at all if he doesn't play. I'm hoping he just needs to get used to the team and system. Hoping - because he seems to have the Palace attributes.

I’m wondering if Uche falls into the Esse category of not being selected / coming on as sub by Glasner in that he doesn’t yet see him as a team player? I wasn’t impressed when seeing him throwing himself to the ground and faking injury in the short appearances so far? Hopefully it’s just adjusting/learning how Glasner wants him to play within his system and that we will see more of him soon?

Who knows? I was wondering more about the obligation to buy if he makes 10 starts? I think. Do we have the money? Are we undecided on whether we want him?
If we have Uche, Esse should be loaned out in January if the amount of appearances continue. In my opinion - loan him to Millwall. Even if they are shithead c****.

I have a horrible feeling we might see a bit of a dry spell for JPM now. Feels a bit our of sorts infront of goal.

I suspect, in a game like that (where we are winning and cruising). Making subs like Sarr, Devenny, Lerma make sense. They know the system inside and out.

Uche is probably the guy you bring on when you are chasing the game.

That aside, we are going to have to manage game time. Hopefully he'll get some time at the weekeend.
