Seriously....Dublin getting some bad press here ..
Yes,it has changed recently..
But it still a good city .....as previously said ..union jack ...not a great idea..
But that's down to history...
Believe me ..when you come over for the match.. you will have a great time!

Bit like Croydon on a match day. All the good folks are in town on the day. But go into Thornton Heath or Croydon town center on a non match day you might just never come back 🙊

Funny , I was born in Mayday Hospital in Croydon . Went to school in West Croydon , Both my parent are from Tipperary, When im in England everyone calls me Paddy and when im in Ireland everyone calls me a plastic Paddy , I never lost my Croydon accent. All i know is Palace till i die . No offence taken here . at least im not a plastic United or Liverpool fan .
Almost ditto..
Born in Tooting. Parents from Leitrim & Sligo. School in Sutton and Purley.
Had 2 passports. Only the Irish one is now valid.
Who am I? The question many ask …I’m probably the textbook plastic paddy. Wear a mixture of CPFC and Leitrim GAA tops.
I don’t get too fixated on it to be fair… More important things in life to worry about.

PalaceVecchio I’m heading down to Windy Arbour now wearing my Palace shirt and I’ll head into Dundrum after that….. will I be safe?

when i was at school, the teachers used to threaten to send us to the place in Dundrum with the high walls. Which is really more Windy Arbour than Dundrum.
But then again, the Christian Brothers were a scary bunch of looneys. Like a cross between Vinny Jones and Father Jack.

I have a cousin who worked in the place with the high walls for 30 years occasionally he would bring a client home for lunch. It may of been their only escape from a lonely existence. It is to be redeveloped for housing in the meantime it is supplying refuge to others.

I get the feeling there is going to be thousands of fans in Dublin for the day. And most will not have tickets 😯

Just booked the Harcourt Hotel £90 Inc b'fast....15.walk from Bowes pub and Palace Bar...that's me.sorted...now all I need is Ryan Air to have no delays..don't have much like with budget airlines recently...although this flight is hardly budget £245 but times are perfect, good luck all...my cousins reckon match tix won't be a issue locally, they live out there and claim to be getting me 4 when go on sale

Am definitely looking to go to Dublin for this. Have a travel plan, and accommodation sorted.
I need to sort tickets before I can commit 🙂

Just an interesting fact . I've never seen a Brighton fan in Ireland 😏
I started seeing the odd one a couple of years ago. They were almost successful and trendy for a while.
I'm also mates with an old fella in the pub who kind of supports them as he lived there. However, I think he's coming round to the righteous team.
Funniest thing recently was I was walking out of Dunnes and one of the staff was chasing me. I was wearing a Palace hat. He said his family were all Palace. He couldn't believe there were others round here.

i need 2 adult tickets, can do bank transfer, meet on the day, pay in liquids, whatever.

PM me :football: 👍

Strange enough I don't mind the Brighton fans in Ireland. There does seem to be this unspoken mutual respect among people supporting teams outside the usual manure, Liverpool, arsenal etc...

I ended up splashing out on that new watch to bring up my points to the 8000. It better be bloody worth it 🤣

I think for 8k it was phase 3 for the last away game in Norway. I can imagine because of the nearby location it might not even make it that far 😅

We have 9000 points, have booked refundable hotel near ground but don’t hold out much hope of tickets
