You can criticise and but when others regard that view as flawed it's criticised in turn. That's all that's going on here, it isn't personal just views on football.

Personally I think the only real thing I regard Parish part guilty of is the failure to properly secure our Europa registration.....However, ultimately he can't control what a majority owner does with their shares.

There's absolutely no way that the way we have conducted our pre season transfer business can be described as acceptable and that's on Parish.

People criticising him for for that doesn't mean that they're 'obsessed' with Glasner... You would think he would want to do everything he could to support the most successful Manager the club has ever had.
 
I think fans are over reacting.

Replacing Guehi and Eze is extremely difficult and it's not Parish's fault they won't sign contracts.

I think the attacking additions he's added are very impressive for the money spent.

Canvot, is a wait and see....and came at quite a fee, in my view.

Lerma is a capable CH , Guehi hasn't actually gone quite yet.....and we still have time for loans if I remember correctly.
 
I doubt Parish has ruined the season, unless OG dumps us. But he has taken part in a first class balls up that can’t be denied. How does he go against the wishes of the best manager he will ever have , selling the Crown Jewels a couple of hours before a long summer window, with no replacement signed sealed and settled? It couldn’t be much worse of a situation. If OG does go the situation could end even more negative than just a season ruined. So much for £35 mill quid

Have you ever considered that there might be financial reasons why clubs (hardly just us) leave transfers until the last knockings on tranfer deadline?

The clubs that buy early tend to be the clubs with big wallets. It's little secret that that's the kind of clubs that Glasner wants to be at. It's also well known that uncertainty on our European situation also scuppered early business.

Personally I'm not interested in becoming another Blackburn because of fan impatience.

The info is out there he pushed for the club to get into trouble and the other 3 at the time contributed far more anyway.

He has made most of his wealth of Palaces back.

I don't know of many clubs who need to sign 4 or 5 players on deadline day.. Unless you can name them for me?
Either way it's not the way forward especially when your Manager has made it clear he doesn't want it to happen again.

The European situation had nothing to do with it. That's something for the Parish fan boys like yourself to hide behind. Players couldn't care less whether they play Europa League or ECL.

Not sure what the reference to Blackburn has got to do with anything.. From memory they won the Premier League in 1995 and were relegated 17 years later in 2012.. No idea.

That's the difference between people not just in Football but in life itself.. Some people are happy to just tread water.. Others want to try and push on.

Liverpool have stated Parish pulled the plug following extensive dis with the head coach. If anything it might strengthen their relationship if Parish has turned down £35 million for the sake of his coach.

Discussions between Guehi and Glasner are also important.

As for Parish, I just hope we can afford it, as we know that both Guehi and Glasner aren't the ones left holding the baby.....they could easily dismiss all the problems with a one year extension that Parish would take in a second.

All the people criticising Parish for worrying about money won't be seen for dust if this club got into trouble again.

The 'European' situation was due to the Chairman's incompetence.

As is this annual mess.

It's been a long time and nobody is not grateful.
