Palace: Henderson (GK), Muñoz, Chalobah, Lacroix, Guéhi, Mitchell, Lerma, Hughes, Sarr, Mateta, Eze.

Subs: Turner (GK), Ward, Clyne, Richards, Kporha, Doucouré, Devenny, Schlupp, Nketiah.

Newcastle: Pope (GK), Livramento, Schär, Burn, Hall, Tonali, Guimarães, Willock, Joelinton, Isak, Gordon.

Subs: Dúbravka (GK), Trippier, Kelly, Longstaff, Murphy, Almirón, Barnes, Osula, Wilson.

I don't rate their defence but looks like Gordon will be playing on his favoured left side and I'm not sure Munoz and Chalobah can handle him. Isak is due a goal or two and if we are as open at the back as against Villa, he will punish us

Considering the wide men are their danger men, this is crying out for a change of system.

Harsh on Devenny, thought he has been rock solid but as Glasner said we have 3 games in a short spell so will get his time. Surely saved us £15/20 million in January? And please god… he is above he off the 3 game ban now 🤞🏻🙏

Probably just trying to spare him a good 'clogging'

Whilst practically all members are harmonised about us scoring a victory today (11-30-24) with me personally learning towards the real possibility of our moment of glory later being by an extra goal or two, it is important we should also play homage to the A Bournemouth FC Head-Manager Edward JF Howe who yesterday locally celebrated his 47th chapter, with a third of these chapters being part of a rather glittering Soccer Management career in the story to date.

Significantly, Edward 'Eddie' Howe is a member of a special club within the industry of not being relegated or demoted.

On behalf of everyone within the Eagles Nest, we would like to wish you many happy returns, albeit 24 hours late.

Am I right in thinking that sandcastle absolutely using the stop and break up at all means tactic. They do it all the time. Teams struggle to get going.

Refs need to watch what appears to be an intentional and growing tactic by Newcastle of stopping opponents getting momentum by fainting injury.
